Review: I chose the room with the lake view and I didn't regret it. The location may be far from Old Quarter where most of the tourists prefer to stay but staying here was a good choice. The staff are very approachable and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and they'll provide new towels. New shampoo and soap bar. There's heater in the room too. My only concern was the utensils and the microwave. Some of the utensils were not cleaned and the microwave malfunctioned. Good thing there are nice cafes around where you can relax and eat while looking at the lake. I had a great time.

Positive points: Staff is so friendly

Negative points: I stayed here two years ago, and at that time, it was very clean. But now, it's very dirty. Both the fan and the toilet are broken.

Positive points: The location was great, nice view of the lake. Lots of coffee places on the same street.

Negative points: The room was not so clean. I was a bit itchy and not sure if the bedsheets was changed between guests. It seems pretty low maintenance in the room. The AC didn’t work out on my second day, I didn’t see anyone at the reception to ask about these issues.

Positive points: The view and staff was somewhat supportive.

Negative points: Facilities of rooms are outdated. Floor has cracks and damage, shower head did not work for first night, had to inform staff to replace it. Even after replacement, I still have to use hand held for stronger water pressure. Lights of living room area fused after 1st night. We have to rely on the bedroom lights for our entire stay. Kitchen area is just for decoration (only fridge works after at least 1 night running, rice cooker and electric kitchen is busted).

Review: The room is quite spacious, and I feel comfortable staying alone. With such a view, the price is very reasonable. A plus is the quick and easy procedure, and the room is clean (the bathroom has some trash). There is air conditioning and a fan, and the kitchen amenities are complete. There are basic supplies for daily activities. The downside is that the facilities in the room are quite old. I think the TV for watching movies feels like it’s from the past it’s just for fun because you can't watch anything on it. The balcony door can’t be opened because the lock is broken, so I can't go out to enjoy the view. Opening the window is also quite difficult. Anyway, I think staying here for travel is still okay.
