Calm House Hotel Hoi An

Review: My roomate had a bad experience regarding that, and when she complained they were responsive and took away the matress, still i was paranoid for the whole night i stayed there.

Positive points: Excellent choices for breakfast, staff were super friendly and helpful.

Review: Great hotel, amazing staff!! Felt at home right from the start. The staff also shared with me a list of activities to check in the city and restaurant recommendations. They also can arrange trips for you at discounted prices. The room was very quiet, had great views at sunrise from the balcony. The location is walkable to the old town. Hot water and AC worked well. Nothing to complain about.

Review: It’s my understanding there is a hostel with a similar name. This review is only about the hotel. It’s on the island across from the Old Town of Hoi An and that makes it a much quieter place to stay. It’s a short taxi ride to the Old Town if you go before taxis and cars get banned there around 10-10:30 AM. The staff is just terrific at the Front Desk. The two people who helped me the most during my stay were Rosey and her husband, Lee. He makes the biggest and best cheese and tomato pizza ever in SE Asia and lots of other places. The rooms are large, had a great shower, the hotel is quiet, etc. etc. The lobby is lovely with old style Chinese furniture and tasteful and original paintings on the walls. I felt like I was in an Old Town building that had been modernized. I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

Review: I opted for a dorm stay, meeting friendly travels. The hosts are exceptional. Rosy is a gem and her staff are welcoming. It is in proximity to the markets, restaurants, tailors, and old town. The pool was relaxing but the pool facility is in progress. I will definitely stay here again when visiting.

Positive points: I can say only good things about the hotel. We really enjoyed our time there. Breakfast had many choices. Beds were comfortable.

Review: Calm House lives upto it's name. A good place to stay, if you're in Hoi an. It's perfectly placed at a distance which is not too close to the market (crowd/noise) and not far as well. The sights are easily accessible. Everything was amazing about this place.
