The Grand Hotel Myeongdong

Review: near the subway and shopping street! very nice location

Positive points: Amazing location and friendly staff.

Review: Spent 5 nights here and it was very comfortable. Hotel is just behind L7 hotel and very near main road and airport limo bustop. Room is surprisingly spacious for the two of us. Had ample space to walk even with luggages open on the floor. Hotel staff were polite and warm, always greeting us. They have a common laundry and ironing room for all to use at B1. We didnt require them to make-up the room, but they left new towels outside our room everyday. Amazing stay!

Positive points: The room is clean and comfortable. There is housekeeping every morning. Having washing machine and dryer at basement is convenient and very affordable. There's even ice machine at basement. Pillows are soft and bed is comfortable. Location is good as it's very near subway and near to the shopping area.

Review: Great location , but the room is dated. TV is at least 10 years old and only a few channels were available. No outlets to charge phones or other electronics near or between the beds. Lot of accumulated dust behind the TV and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Finally, there was an unpleasant odor, smelled like curry. Not sure if it was from the previous guests.

Positive points: Location is great, near eateries and subway as well. Room is spacious for 2 pax. Staff was very friendly and even recommended us places to eat

Abt 5mins walk from Myeongdong station and airport shuttle stop.nPlenty of food around.nLocated at the quieter end of the street which nice since less noise.nHigh praise for Mr S.J. Kim, always smiling, always courteous. Requests were immediately attended.nWould definitely return to this hotel on our next trip.

Positive points: The location was perfect!nWe could easily walk around Myeongdong even with 3 years old child.nAnd very close to metro station that we could reach station under heavy snow safely.

Review: Hotel is located right at the end of Myeongdong and easily accessible by train. It’s great if you do not mind a little dirt and there is only one lift that serves the hotel. There is no need to get the hotel breakfast as there are many options right outside the hotel / around the area.

Positive points: Location was excellent for a new time and solo traveler. It is steps away from restaurants, Myeondong night market, subway station, and the 6015 airport shuttle bus service. I used the subways to many locations in Seoul while using the Naver app. The price of this hotel is a steal.

Review: The hotel is within the Myeongdong area, near to all shops, restaurants, bus stops and mrt stations. Very good location. Will come here again next time.
