Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan

Review: Hotel location is walking distance to Yongsan train station which makes it convenient due to the connectivity to different areas in Seoul. Room layout is functional. Works well for couples or close friends sharing a room.

Review: Love this place! Room was huge and comfortable with washing machine, coffee machine and a small kitchenette!

Positive points: Great location excellent, modern room airport shuttle bus stops at the complex near a major train station. Lots of restaurants and electronic stores within a 15 minute walk.

Review: E got to upgrade to cinnamon roll suite room for another extra 11000won but it was worth it. They gave us a soft top and a blanket as souvenir and a huge snack box that consisted of beef steak, tiger prawns, salmon salad and a pizza for free! The normal suite was also lovely. The room is huge and it has its own washing machine! It also has a small kitchenette. There’s a link bridge that leads you to a super market and a mall. Great place!

Positive points: The check in experience was amazing with Jazmin and the design pleasurable. Loved the room and how the hotel interconnected with malls and station.

Review: Very convenient if you want to be close to KTX or Yongsan station. There is a 2 storey emart which you can grab almost everything. There are also 2 Olive Young if you want to get some cosmetic.nWill stay in this hotel if I travel for biz trip again.

Review: Overall heat in Seoul during July/August 2024 is around 35degrees celcius. The entire building not getting enough AC. I have been staying as a long term guest and moved rooms 4 times. I'm in the Novotel suites which has better AC then the lower floor rooms but still doesn't go under 25.5degrees no matter how strong I leave the AC on 24hours. When I'm in the room I stay with Blackout curtains closed and minimum lights on. My child got prickly heat all over her back. I attempted to get discounts or refunds but the general mamagers on duty won't budge. The customer service you get is NOTHING BUT 5 star hotel level. The hotel complex is huge and they don't care. Drunk people at night are all around the CU convenience store within the hotel. I regret booking my lomg term stay prepaid thinking I can count on the brand. I should've chosen Marriott hotels as I usually do. JW Marriotts in Seoul operates definitely at a higher level. Personally never coming back.

Positive points: We got a suite with a nice view and a lot of space, when compared to hotels in South Korea. It's right next to a train station, and also a bus station and a mall. You can take the bridge to the mall of train station.

Review: I have repeated stays here and continue to recommend it. The facilities are all excellent and leave nothing wanting. I especially take advantage of the in suite laundry and it is so convenient. nnThe close proximity of a few minutes to Yongsan station is a huge time saver and of course you simply have a short walk to any shopping needles you can imagine. Amazing dining options are all within 1 km.
