Solaria Hanoi Hotel

Review: Hotel was perfect for our visit to Hanoi. Have stayed there 3 times after being recommended by a family member. It is in a perfect location within easy walking distance of night market, train street and the cathedral. Lots of restuarants/bars nearby but hotel had 2 restaurants which were good. Also had the bonus of roof bar. Our room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent with plenty choice. The best part was the helpfulness of all the staff. Would definitely stay again.

Review: Sue was the best host in a Hotel ever. Hotel was right in the middle of Hanoi Old Quarter.. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Fantastic safety briefing on arrival on how to survive Hanoi.

Positive points: Very helpful and cheerful staff. They are always ready to help and listen. They helped me with my airline reservation when some problems arose. The breakfast is outstanding. Great choices. Location in the old town, very convenient.

Review: We had a wonderful stay at Solaria! The staff are very nice and communication didn't bother us. We stayed here for our honeymoon and they decorated our bed with towel swans and rose petal spread, it was very sweet of them!

The room is spacious and cozy. Bathroom has separate shower and bath tub. Bed and pillows are comfy, we always had a good night's sleep.

As for the breakfast buffet, they change their menu daily. Their food is delicious!

Solaria surprised us a gift after our check-out because we stayed for our honeymoon. They deserve more than a 4-star rating because their services is superb!

Review: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Solaria. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until the time we left, we were given exceptional service.
The location was really good, close the lake, post office, coffee shops and restaurants.
The buffet breakfast spread was also delicious with additional dishes cooked upon order.
The massage was really good too.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay.
Special mention to Lily who was so helpful during out stay. She spoke English really well which helps a lot when visiting Vietnam

Positive points: I loved the location. We were close to the shopping and near the lake with lots of restaurant choices. I also think that the staff was very sweet and helpful during our stay.

Review: We were a group of mostly senior citizens, 6 siblings, who had the best of luck in finding this gem of a hotel in Hanoi. We arrived at the tail end of the Tet holiday and had a great welcome from the staff who graciously allowed us to check-in (all 3 rooms) at 10 am instead of 2 pm. To top it all, they decided to upgrade our rooms! It was a great relief for all of us who spent a sleepless evening at the airport prior to our arrival. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and very clean. The hotel’s location is perfect — very close to the lake, the cathedral, and a stone’s throw away from many restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of choices, and the hotel’s restaurant was top notch. The staff were the best, especially Ryan, who helped arrange all our tours. They were very helpful and so kind. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Positive points: The hotel is located in the Old Quarters of Hanoi, very close to the lake and the church. It is a very nice location with art galleries and cafes. and a small supermarket around the corner. Super attentive staff and of course, great breakfast. For breakfast, they offer a selection of Western and Eastern dishes and a nice buffet. This breakfast alone keeps us going without lunch or snack till 6 pm. The only disappointment was lack of any view from the small windows in the room. but on positive side, room was very clean. Overall it is a great budget choice in Hanoi.

Review: I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hanoi! Our stay only ended up being a few days, but the staff always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during those days. They always checked in with us to make we had everything we needed, and offered great advise on a variety of things from places to eat to where to find eSIM cards for data.
Breakfast was included during our stay and was in a buffet style. The food was very high quality and changed from day to day. One of the best buffet I’ve had in any hotel.
The rooms were clean and tidy and they changed the sheets everyday. Overall our experience at Solaria was fantastic and I would 100% go back every time I visit Hanoi.

Review: The staff of Solaria Hanoi Hotel is exceptional and made us feel comfortable during the entirety of the stay. The food and location is great as it is located near Hoàn Kiếm Lake.

Review: We were warmly welcomed by Susan upon arrival, and her hospitality made us feel as though we stepped into a Ritz Carlton! Some light bites, drinks, and refreshing towel was served, as Susan took time to explain everything that we needed to know about the hotel and Hanoi. We received the same friendliness from Ryan at check-out, and he was equally professional.

We had a Family Room which was huge and perfect. Due to the central heating during winter which we found a little warm for our liking, the staff brought us fans to make the stay more comfortable.

The service staff at the breakfast were attentive and eloquent. There was a good variety of food. However the chef did take a little too long to poach my eggs, and my family were already finishing up breakfast. The poached egg was also overcooked and not runny. That aside, the breakfast experience was still great. We love the fresh spring rolls.

Lastly, we also had some drinks at the skybar and it was a nice cosy place. Would have been better if all heaters were working. Nonetheless we spent a great time here watching the night view of Hanoi.

Personally I love this hotel so much I'd be sure to stay here again on my next trip, and highly recommend this hotel to anyone still undecided!
