Review:
Probably the best and most spectacular location in Pu Luong for vistas over the paddy fields below and distant mountains.
Do visit the nearby Coffee View cafe and restaurant. We had interesting conversations with the owner’s Google translate.
Positive points:
It is a lovely resort in the middle of the nature, well maintained.
Highly attention to details.
The sights from the resort are simply amazing.
A big room well equipped with everything you need.
A hygienic bathroom.
The hotel staff were very helpful.
The breakfast is ok.
We will surely return here.
Negative points:
The towels need to be changed, as they seem quite old and very used.
The restaurant needs some improvements, as we had better dishes in Vietnam, more tastier than here. There are not so many options to dine in near the hotel, so you remain to eat at the hotel.
Review:
beautiful room, gorgeous view, great food, good facility and the traditional alcohol in saturday night is awesome.
the road from hanoi to here is a bit tricky, the short one seems to cut some times but crazy hard to ride your car. The longer one is easier and
Positive points: We had a wonderful stay at Natura! The property is beautifully sited and overlooks rice paddies that were picturesque even in winter. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and we especially appreciated our kind, knowledgeable guide, Lan, who took us for several treks around the area. The staff arranged our transportation to and from Natura over email before we arrived (we came from Ninh Binh and departed to Hanoi), which was really helpful. The breakfast was very nice and pretty extensive and lunch/dinner were good opportunities to try regional dishes. Tips: We recommend you book a trek ahead of time since you'll likely need a guide and there may be limited availability in busy times. Also recommend you bring any cash you think you'll need. Finally, if we'd had more time we probably would have eaten at one of other restaurants in the hotels nearby to get a bit more variety.
Review: Very nice spot. I should have stayed longer!
Positive points: Views from the pool . Bungalow rooms with Mountain/valley View
Negative points: Construction going on with the building of new rooms .
Review:
We stayed in Pu Luong for a running event. The location of Pu Luong Natura was fantastic. The views of the surrounds were captivating with the pools and eating areas.
The staff were helpful and accommodating with extra family for breakfast that couldn't book in to the resort.
Food was reasonably priced. Pu Luong is somewhat isolated, so as like most places, alternate eateries are usually a drive or bike ride away. The staff also accommodate us with an extremely early breakfast for our early morning event.
Positive points:
Amazing place!!!
We liked everything, the place, the location, the view
Review:
The place has a nice location, overlooking the beautiful rice terraces. However, given the rate we paid for similar properties in the North of Vietnam, we expected much better facilities. The room we have is too small. After placing two suitcases inside, we hardly had any space to move. The room lacks light, both natural and electric. If you stay in the room, you don't have enough light to do anything but sleep. I had to use my headlamp (used for trail running) to sort out my running gear. The walls of the room are too thin, so you can hear all the noises outside. In fact, we had to wake up very early in the morning due to our neighbor's alarm!
Positive points: Location and activities. Comfortable bed.
Negative points: Although it has to be acknowledged it is a remote rural area and the hotel has a good charm, bathrooms need important improvement. Not good fittings and very limited amount of hot water for shower. Some zones under construction.
Review: We are a family with young children, and we were absolutely amazed by this place. After spending time in Hanoi, this hotel was a perfect and refreshing break. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the incredible view—it was breathtaking. The pool was perfect for both adults and kids, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. One of the highlights was the evening show, where our little one even got to join in the dancing, which was such a cute and memorable moment. The location is just perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Although the rooms might be a bit older, it didn’t bother us at all. In fact, we loved everything about this place and kept saying throughout our trip that this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The staff truly made us feel at home, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful experience.
Positive points: Amazing hotel! Spacious and very comfortable rooms. A highlight is the pool which offers great views on the mountains and rice terraces
Review: This accommodation perfectly captures the essence of pu luong. Amazing views and fantastic vibe. Great dinner, everything was easy.
Positive points: Beautiful grounds!! Natural environment, in the middle of rice terraces, 2 swimming pools, motorbike rental (even if motorbike was not great…). Nice room
Negative points:
Rooms are humid, unfortunately, like most of the places in these areas where it rains a lot. Rooms facing north, don’t get much sun to dry them. Low stilt-bungalows (higher price range) are surely better on that matter as the walls breathe from 3 sides and up from the ground. Our room was in a complex of 2/3 floors and we were on ground floor.
Staff -especially at reception- was making only the strict minimum required and seemed to be bothered all the time you get to them (maybe because we were staying too many days for the normal standard!?). Also water should be on a disposal so you could fill up your own bottles without making too much plastic, neither bothering again the reception to fill the 2 small glass water provided in the room (and the restaurant only sell small bottles not big ones!).
Review: Hotel and accommodation are perfect, very nice swimming pool (2) with a magnificent view. Rooms are spacious with a balcony again with a magnificent view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has all you need to start your day. Hotel is laying in the middle of the rice field's. Lunch or diner has a big variety of good food.
Positive points: Loved the location and especial the pool
Negative points: We had to move rooms and the room we moved had a very hard mattress plus there was lot of mosquitoes otherwise it was a lively stay
Review: Đệm nằm đau lưng. Bệ xí vệ sinh cần được làm sạch hơn. Khung cảnh rất đẹp.
Positive points: Stunning location and very helpful, friendly staff.
Negative points: We were on a budget and consequently, the room we got wasn’t the best. It was situated over the dining area and was very noisy from around 6am during to staff preparing breakfast for the large groups of ‘trekkers’.
Review: it was tough getting to from ha noi without a private auto. we took several segments of those sleeper bed buses, then transferred to a taxi which took us to the site. the 150 km trip took nearly 4 hours to get there. but the view was worth the trip. the trip
Positive points: Beautifully landscaped garden, gorgeous pool, and awesome views from my villa that boasted huge windows. (I loved that the desk was positioned to also have a wonderful view.) At breakfast, I appreciated that for a reasonable charge I could buy premium espresso based beverages - the coffee tasted excellent. The hotel also arranged a very comfortable car from Hanoi airport at a fair price comparable what Grab quoted for the same trip when I checked (although I doubt that any driver would actually accept such a far trip at short notice). Overall a great base to soak in the relaxing beauty of the valley and explore the area. The location is not as far up the valley as some other resorts in the area, hence there are more walks and more infrastructure nearby (such as other restaurants, spas etc.).
Negative points: While the hardware is great, the "software" in terms of services offered could be improved. It would have been nice to have a mini bar with some (ideally healthy and/or locally produced) snacks and to have some fruit offered in the room, maybe as a premium offer for some nominal charge. Likewise, the pool would have felt even more upscale if they had had a poolside menu with some delights such as smoothies or ice cream. (In case the hotel actually offers these, it does a poor job marketing them as I was totally unaware.) Breakfast options were a bit limited - the omelette station was great but they had no bread except for white toast, and there was no cereal. I would have loved to have some healthy options such as a wholegrain bread or oats, nuts, and sugar free low-fat yogurt for a muesli. All in all, I still would not mind coming back but amongst the three resorts I visited in Pu Luong, I felt that I got the least value for money at Natura.
