Review:
Hotel is located just min away from.old town and within walking distance. Quiet at night.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Will come.back again
Positive points: All good
Review: Value for money
Positive points: Okie and happy. Mr Nam is very good
Review: Great hotel to stay in Hoi An. So convenient.
Positive points: Everything. The location was close to Old Town but away from all the crowds. The room was great, overlooking the river. The staff took very good care of us. Get the 4-hands massage while you’re there. It is worth every penny!
Review: Love it
Positive points:
The staff are really helpful. They organised for us to visit My Son and the Marble Mountains by the hotels car, and provided us with water and hand wipes. The rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. The hotel has a nice overall vibe.
We would stay again.
Negative points: The ground floor room was a bit noisy in the mornings and the shower is slippery!
Review:
We stayed in one of the luxury rooms facing the river - we were really happy with the room. It came with a balcony which was lovely for the evening sun - and a bath which was nice after the rainy days!
The staff are really lovely - Hana on the front desk was very helpful. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to be able to walk into the town - you come in right near the entrance of old town and have a lovely river walk from the hotel.
Pool area is nice - gets sun in the middle of the day. Breakfast is good, all you need.
Would not recommend the spa - honestly I think it was the worst massage I’ve ever had. Save your massage for Relaxy in town.
Overall would definitely stay at Laluna again - location and staff really made it!
Positive points: Great location. Close to centre but quiet at night.
Review: We had a great time in Hoi An at this hotel. It’s just outside the main old town, so more out of the action but it also means it’s much quieter, which we appreciate. I liked that the hotel faced the water. The breakfast was amazing and all the staff were great. Nam, the guest relations manager, checked in with us when we arrived and left to offer transportation options and see how our stay was. We booked our airport transfers through the hotel and I’m glad we did as it took away a lot of the stress of finding a Grab driver and worrying about tolls and fees. You can charge the transfer costs to the room and pay for it by credit card when you check out.
Positive points: Well located boutique hotel just off the main hustle and bustle of the Old Town! When we fell sick, the staff was so caring and checked in on us. They were also extremely flexible when our plans changed and accommodated late checkout, coordinating changing logistics, etc.
Negative points: Nothing!
Review: hotel service is amazing, rooms are clean and bed is comfortable, however, some rooms do not have a lift, so do remember to state that you need one if you have wheelchairs or leg issues
Positive points:
I would like to provide honest feedback regarding my recent stay at Laluna Hoi An during our family trip. This was my second time staying at the hotel after a very positive experience on my first visit. What I like most is the hotel’s location, which is right next to the Thu Bon River and close to the Ancient Town, making it extremely convenient. With all these advantages, Laluna Hoi An deserves to be considered one of the best hotels in town. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the customer service during this stay.
I absolutely love the hotel’s design—it has a vintage charm that beautifully reflects Vietnamese culture. The facilities are very well-maintained, and it doesn’t feel outdated at all, despite my first visit being in 2019.
The staff, in general, are very friendly and always willing to provide information whenever we need it. However, I feel that when it comes to handling certain situations or challenges, they may not have the experience needed to resolve them effectively.
I’m not posting this review immediately after my negative experience, as it took me a week to calm down and reflect. I wanted to ensure that I expressed my feedback in a polite and constructive manner, with the hope of helping the business improve and enhance its reputation. Unfortunately, this will be my last stay at your hotel.
Laluna Hotel has the potential to be one of the best hotels in Hoi An due to its prime location, excellent facilities, and beautiful decor. However, there is a clear need for improvement in their professionalism, customer service, and management team. This feedback is not meant to criticize, but rather to offer an honest perspective in the hope that it can help the hotel enhance its service for future guests.
Negative points:
Our family was quite upset by the way the receptionist handled our arrival. Receptionist continued to question us repeatedly about the number of guests, we almost ended up paying more than necessary. Thankfully, we carefully checked the details and made sure everything was clear. Please do not let staffs confused you.
Additionally, the staff asked how much we paid for the taxi to the hotel, only to offer a higher-priced alternative for their transport services. We understand that businesses aim to increase their profits, but this situation could have been handled in a more professional and respectful way.
Additionally, I would advise everyone to be cautious when borrowing bicycles from the hotel. We borrowed 9 bikes to ride around the Ancient Town. These bikes are single-seat only, so it was clear that, with 9 bikes borrowed, there should be 9 bikes returned. However, when we got back to the hotel, the staff suddenly claimed that 2 bikes were missing.
In a professional setting, I expected the Hotel Manager to step in and help resolve this situation, especially since it didn’t make sense—we had all arrived at the hotel with the bikes, yet the security staff insisted that 2 bikes had been stolen. It took nearly an hour of arguing with the security guard, who blamed us for the missing bikes and seemed unwilling to take responsibility for the situation.
We requested to speak with the Hotel Manager, but instead, the manager kept insisting that we leave a good review (and here we are, providing this honest feedback).
Eventually, we asked to review the security footage, as we didn’t want to continue arguing with the security guard. It turned out that 2 other guests had borrowed the bikes, but the security guard had failed to note it down. He later apologized for the mistake.
Review: Everything is good. It's worth the money and highly recommended if you're looking for a nice, good, clean place to stay in Hoi An.
Positive points: The rooms were good, clean and comfortable
Negative points:
The staff especially the room service and the cleaners. They were rude.
We were greeted by the receptionist upon arrival and the security guy helped us get our baggage to the room. After experiencing the service and hospitality in Hanoi, we just felt that this place did not live up to our expectations. We are disappointed with the room service and laundry. The girl who came to collect the clothes for laundry was rude and was not being respectful. I ordered bottles of water and they gave me iced cold water, I requested the lady who delivered the bottles for regular (room temperature) water for my little one, her answer left me speechless - she told me keep it
out for 5 mins and it’ll be fine. It’ll take around 5 hours to bring that iced water to the room temperature to be honest.
The reception and the restaurant staff were good.
Review:
This is an excellent hotel for those wishing to experience Hoi An. Located within a few minutes' walk from the old town, and just across the bridge from the night market, the hotel is at a very convenient location. The rooms were also bright, roomy and clean, while the breakfast offered was also very good.
Staff were friendly and helpful, often taking the time to check if everything was going okay. They were also ready to help in arranging short trips and making bookings for performance shows, which could be very useful for those who came less prepared.
Positive points: Fantastic location. Very centrally but not noisy at all. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff
Review:
Excellent service , friendly staff , simple but good breakfast, clean room, the mattress though. is getting toward the end of its life ....
All in all a v good amd pleasant stay.
Positive points: Excellent location, convenient to Hoi An sights but just far enough away from the center to be quiety and peaceful. We enjoyed our spacious suite with a view of the river. But what really made our experience exceptional was the friendly and welcoming staff.
Negative points: Nothing, it was all great!
