Positive points: The staff were very helpful! Hanna is great! Our room was clean and comfortable! Each unit has a washing machine on the balcony, which is wonderful! Enough basic dishes and cookware to make your own meals. We bought an inexpensive dish drainer, a few more cooking utensils, and a couple of extra dish towels as we stayed for 10 weeks. Close to Lotte Mall with a large supermarket in the basement. Also, a small WinnMart down the alley--a few steps out the door. Try Jewel Diner down the road. Several bus stops nearby. The city busses are an inexpensive way to get around. We found that Google Map was usually very accurate in routes and times, often better than the Hanoi Bus app. nWe are headed back to Hanoi for another month and will stay at Joy Apartment Tay Ho again!

Review: My stay was okay with them, I left big amount of money in the room for my trip, 20.000 THB, and when I came back to claim it they told me it was not there. I asked them several times and the sensation is that the owner was saying the truth but the cleaning lady was not. All in all, not an honest place

Positive points: - wish this was my home. It is so nice, has everything you need.n- very clean n- working elevatorn- comfortable bed n- love that there is a washing machine and drying apparatus for every room. n- wifi for each room separately. - I was planning to take my online classes here but my neighbor was so loud with their music I couldn’t…. n- the place is very close to lotte mall - I was able to do work and take classes from the Muji store’s cafe lol

Negative points: - it was extremely cold inside and the extra fleece blanket they provided was not enough. n- the walls are really thin and my neighbor was blasting their tv all day and night.n- the fire alarm went off at in the evening but there was no one at the front desk. Two other guests and I, concerned, walked down the stairs and were waiting for some word from the super/receptionist who had tuned off the alarm after letting it go off for about 3 minutes. They never came so I called the “hotline.” Someone who I assume was sleeping answered saying they were not at the building so they would call someone who was and would call me back. They never did. I also message on booking app but no response. n- also, I had a very early check out (11:30 pm) the next day. I wrote on booking app messenger again asking about check out procedures and no response for hours. So again I had to call a few different numbers (written on post it note with a hand written note in Vietnamese) to contact the receptionist (around 8pm). n… so I removed one point. For service because of the alarm confusion for being unresponsive. Other than that. I love this place and would definitely come back. n- the electric kettle was gross. It looked like someone had used it to heat milk and had rinsed it but seeing the burnt milk residue, just filled it ⅓ of the way with water to sit. The cleaning lady didn’t do the second part to clean jt - so I had to spend 5 minutes really scrubbing hard to clean the kettle. Honestly wouldn’t have used it if it wasn’t soooo cold in Hanoi/in the apartment. But I guess that is minor.

Positive points: - Phòng rộng,sạch sẽ,đầy đủ tiện nghi như 1 căn phòng trọ !n- Phòng có bồn tắm to bé nhà mình rất thích ( cái này còn hơn cái phòng khách sạn 5* mà m ở trước đó 😆)n- Phòng gần với lotte bên cạnh là vinmart n- Chị chủ dễ thương,nhân viên phòng cũng nhẹ nhàng dễ chịu .

Negative points: - Bàn chải đánh răng cứng quá mỗi lần chải là chảy máu 🤣( Chị chủ nhớ đổi cái nhỏ nhỏ mềm mềm nhen 😝n- Phòng đóng của hết thì hơi bí ( ngủ là k biết sáng tối sao luôn 🤣)
