Hoang Lan Hotel

Review: staff were super friendly and amazing, theres a cute friendly dog at the hotel too! noticed that the hotel has gone through a renovation so the rooms are brand new, bathrooms are clean and shiny too. we booked 2 rooms and found that 1 of our tvs dont work so that might be a con for some guests, but overall still great :) breakfast is not too bad but variety is on the lesser side, altho understandable as the hotel doesnt serve a huge amount of guests. cosy would be the right word for it :) overall a great stay, would recommend this hotel!

Review: Hotel was so clean and staff was so good

Positive points: The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We got to check-in early which was also very nice after a looooong travel day from Finland. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The room had an easy-to-use safe and a small fridge. Air conditioning and wifi worked well. Breakfast was good with some coffee and juice, toast, jams and fruits, plus they made some eggs to order and pho soup every morning.
As a bonus the hotel staff had a dog, Leggo, who was also a part of the hotel family. <3 Nice small hotel with good location. Several nice cafés, spas, restaurants and minimarts were a short walk away.

Positive points: Really great place, run by lovely and welcoming people. Extremely clean, with good facilities. Very quiet. It is in District 3, so it's a bit of a walk to get to the action in District 1, but we enjoyed this. Amazing breakfasts, with the most charming service.

Review: HLH is Central, Friendly and Comfy.
You can sometimes hear other guests through the ceiling - but I extended my stay nonetheless 🙂

Positive points: Perfect location District 3 close to the war Remnants museum. 30 mins walk to Central Market or a short Grab taxi ride. Lovely large, clean rooms comfy beds all amenities one needs. Quiet location set back from road. Breakfast included. (nothing special but they do use NZ milk for coffee!!) Staff esp Mochi? the receptionist most helpful booking us bus to Tra Vinh etc. Highly recommend.

It's Near war museum. Only 30 min walk to Central Market area. Pavements you can actually use here!!
Taxis find it hard to find because it is behind the sweet home hotel.

Review: Really nice clean modern rooms. Location was about 15 min walk to District 1. Nice breakfast with a huge TV to watch whilst eating. Wonderful staff. Overall a great hotel.

Positive points: The staff was super nice and friendly. The hotel was clean and the location was great, super quiet in such a huge busy city. Definitely a hidden gem. Was also really close to some minimarkets, the war museum and a great restaurant - Man moi. We never had such flavors in our trip so far to Vietnam as at that restaurant. Don’t miss this restaurant btw. The rest of the food we tried so far in Vietnam doesn’t compare to it. The breakfast was decent, nice selection of some pastries, flan/yoghurt, fruits, freshly made pho or eggs, coffee with different types of milk options and some traditional dishes. It might not seem so grand as to other hotels, but breakfast really should not be a deal breaker. We loved our stay and if we were to go again to Ho Chi Minh, we would book here again no hesitation.
