T-Ritz Saigon Hotel & Apartment

Review: I’ve stayed here several times over the years. Great location, friendly staff, lots of facilities. The hotel is in District 3, but I have walked several times to the center of District 1. It’s a short 10-15 minutes walk. A gym, a swimming pool and a sauna to be found here too.

Positive points: Great location and great staff

Review: Very helpful staff, rooms look brand new or renovated, clean and spacious. Location is on a main road but I wasn’t disturbed by any traffic outside. Nice gym facilities than most hotels and a good pool and sauna space.

Positive points: Central location. Rooftop pool was nice.

Review: Construction at night and no sleep. Reception staff lie and tell you no construction at hotel at night. I had to get night security guard to tell them there is, and more to come. Emailed manager Luong Dieu but got no response.
Also no point in switching on the room service light as they never look at it.

Positive points: This is an amazing hotel for amazing value. The location in HCMC/Saigon is perfect, as you're not in the business areas of District 1, but you're only a few minutes walk away from most things. You can grab breakfast/lunch in the hotel, or you can enjoy the plethora of food options that are within a 5 minute walking distance from the hotel. The busiest parts of District 1 are a 5-10 minute Grab ride away. The hotel rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. The staff is both incredibly confident and friendly. They speak English rather well, and they are very accommodating and will help you navigate HCMC. Best of all, the rooms are quite affordable. I was blown away with how amazing this hotel is.

Review: This hotel was an absolute disaster. I initially booked it because of the promise of an Indian restaurant, only to discover it’s closed now. Finding Indian vegetarian food nearby is next to impossible, which was incredibly frustrating. The location is terrible – all the main tourist attractions are far away, making everything inconvenient.

The property is massively overpriced for what it offers, which, to be honest, is nothing. It’s literally just a building with no amenities. The worst part, however, was the treatment. As an Indian, I was treated differently and made to feel unwelcome. It was a deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience.

If you’re Indian, avoid this place like the plague and book somewhere else. Even for others, there are far better deals to be had. This hotel is a waste of time and money – avoid at all costs!

Positive points: Gym was great, pool very good. Apartment inside a hotel is a good idea. Staff were nice. Wifi is good.

Review: Very close to district 1.

Positive points: Super nice hotel with gym, pool and sauna on the rooftop. Felt really good to go back to the hotel everyday and have a peaceful atmosphere in contrast to how noisy and polluted HCM is. I didn't try the breakfast, but I had their lunch menu for an excellent price and really liked it. Staff is super sweet and kind. Location is not at the very touristic center but it felt like a nice neighbourhood with cool cafés next to it and spots that seems more local.

Review: Stayed in the One Bedroom Apartment, room was fine and clean. Aircon worked with no problem, as did the wifi, so as a business traveller - no real complaints. The bathtub was slightly annoying, not particularly well designed and hard to get in and out of.

Breakfast was poor and rather unpleasant, I wouldn't recommend getting that included in your stay, opt for a cafe or something nearby.

Staff weren't unpleasant, but at the same time weren't particularly warm. When we arrived the security guard got into an argument with our taxi driver which wasn't great to witness. On the day of check out, I was travelling with a colleague, and we had asked if we could extend it to 1230. They said they could give us one room which meant having to shift all our luggage. I appreciate the checkout time was 1200, but a small gesture would have gone a long way.

Lastly, the way the hotel quite firmly tell you (and also put a note in you room) that all guests must leave by 2200 hrs did not go down well with me at all. I didn't have any visitors, but its a strange rule and to be so forceful about it left a sour taste.

Would probably go back as location was decent, price was okay and rooms were clean - but this is by no means a luxury hotel.

Review: This place really set the standard for our stay in Vietnam! Extremely comfortable rooms, very clean and modern. Super fast WiFi, hot water all day and night. A 10-minute walk away from all the major sights and museums, but far enough that there’s virtually no noise or disturbance. The breakfast was delicious and had a ton of options, although the dining room is a bit on the smaller side so recommend getting there early. The front desk staff were very helpful and helped us book a Grab at like 4 in the morning! Highly recommend.

Positive points: Clean and well kept place! We stayed for 2,5 nights before our late flight. Kitchen has all the basics and a great ventilation for cooking.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal as it is close to many sights and shopping malls but at the same time still easy to get to the airport as you don't get stuck in the middle of the city traffic for too long.

Laundrette is convenient and costs 90.000 VND for washer+dryer. Never tried the breakfast.
