Review: We spent 2 nights at the Grand Hotel du lac and the experience was just exceptional. Located right in the centre of the Old Quarters, everything is just so convenient. Shops and eating places are just outside the hotel. Room quality is typical of any standard 5 star hotel, new and modern shower. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast that we find it unnecessary to eat out, the quality is just as good or better.

Review: You will really feel the vietnamese hospitality , smile & warmth in this hotel. The breakfast has a lot of options and high quality too. Staff are helpful & respectful. The hotel is nicely located - not as chaotic as other hotels in old quarter. Stayed for 3 days, would recommend!

Positive points: The staff were absolutely one of the best parts about the trip. They were so attentive, so helpful, and they were always greeting us whenever we came into the hotel and helped us.

The location is also very central and and the rooftop bar and pool are lovely although we did not get to use it due to the weather. Certainly if we are back in Hanoi will be staying with the same hotel again.

Review: I came Hanoi with my mom. The hotel located in heart of old town Hanoi, easy access to many attraction place. Hotel is literally next to St. Joseph's Cathedral and opposite to famous Chong cafe. Hotel spa service is a must for you to try. They have music show either traditional instrument or violin. Staff are very helpful and supportive. They will help you in arranging of transport for Sapa and recommendation for shops. I will definitely stay here again in my next trip.

Positive points: The etiquette of the Staff was superior quality especially Jack the hotel manager and Jasmine the Spa manager. Our stay exceeded our expectations

Positive points: Perfect location right in the old town but still quiet (even with windows facing the street), perfect service from the staff without being intrusive, very good breakfast with fruit, egg dishes ..., local and European (and portafilter machine for the coffee), spa service outstanding at good prices. Ideal for a stay of a few days.
