Gia Huy Riverside Hotel Hoi An

Review: Excellent hotel in a very good location near the river, I had a top floor room which was overlooking the river, the room was clean, with a massive bath with hot water. The pool was clean, nice beds and comfy mats, the staff were excellent so polite, and the breakfast was tasty, all in all I'd highly recommend.

Positive points: The helpful staff with recommendations of the area, the location, breakfast and the view from our room.

Positive points: The hotel itself is very nice, breakfast was good, the staff is very friendly. Location was good for me, just 10 minutes walk to downtown. Comfortable bed. Good loundry service.

Review: Its a cute little riverside hotel with limited rooms. Rooms are clean and they also have some seating opposite the road where you can have your tea & relax.

The stars here are the staff who are very helpful, and approachable. The breakfast is top-notch and homely.

Positive points: Lovely hotel and very helpful staff. The location was good - a short walk along the river to the old town and all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious - we had the oat banana pancakes two out of the three days we were there. The staff were very friendly and polite. We borrowed the free bikes one day also. Highly recommended.

Review: Amazing quiet place in the busy city of Hoi An, amazing views of the river from our balcony. Breakfast was great. We didn't use the pool as the weather was not great, but it looked inviting. Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a great value way to explore Hoi An City.

Positive points: The staff and especially Fun and Fab were truly the best. Fab recommended the best places to eat, and Fun helped us with every “problem”, making our stay worth repeating. The hotel is super nice and only a 10min walk to the very very very busy area. The location next to the river meant it was also a perfect place for us to chill during rainy weather.

Review: Calm hotel, outside of the touristic busy area, only 700 meters from the melting pot - recommending if you want to be close to the center but avoid all the noise

Positive points: The room matched the photos, was beautiful, and had very comfortable beds. The hotel itself was stunning, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The stay was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is peaceful, though slightly outside the city.

Review: Great location, away from the hustle & bustle but still a very short walk into the mix. Staff very helpful, especially Phuong, with her calm and helpful demeanor…bed comfy and room clean. All rooms facing water with nice outdoor seating. Lovely breakfast is included. I plan to come back and will recommend to friends and family!

Review: Traffic noise was terrible, the staff was kind to change a room on 1 floor higher but it was downgraded without bathtub and balcony, and the noise didn’t get much better, so all the rooms are facing river and road, so please be prepared for the noise from road traffic and boats.
I arrived cold and wet, got sick and asked the staff for ginger. He found me 2pieces both molded. I went into the kitchen and saw the trash was staying overnight with bugs flying around. The next day morning saw a mouse right in front of the breakfast room.
The first night, bathtub was dirty unusable. I couldn’t be bothered searching another place to stay when I’m Hoi an which now I think it was a mistake, as even after changing room, the room was so wet and when I left most of my clothes were wet. And in there was also larvae in my room.

The staff was trying to be helpful but they weren’t helpful, changing room can’t fix everything. I didn’t feel they rly cared about my wellbeing.

Positive points: The hotel offered free bikes for guests which is very lovely. The breakfast was great, I really loved the pho! The pool is beautiful. The location is good, very close to the old town. Great view of the river from the room. And great bath!

Review: A very enjoyable stay. The place was clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast tasty. We loved the hot shower too! The only drawback is that the (very commercialised) old quarter is a 10-15-minute walk away.

Positive points: The hotel was perfectly located and the rooms were lovely, with a little balcony. The breakfast was some of the best we’ve had on the trip, and the staff was really friendly, helping to organise our transports to and from Da Nang. All in all, it was a great way to experience Hoi An!
