Review: In May of 2025 we stayed here after reading glowing reviews. The reviews aren't wrong but it's a little strange to be one of only 4 people having breakfast in such a large dining room in a 7-story hotel. Breakfast was great.

Positive points: Location was so convenient to get to usual spots. The lake in front made the place very relaxing for a nice jog. The room looked old but it’s what I loved because it gave off a colonial charm. I was there for training and their conference room was perfect for it. The food for breakfast and lunch was also SO good and healthy!

Negative points: Only one elevator was working so it took a very long time for guests and staff to get to the floors.

Positive points: So spacious and they upgraded us to their executive suite room.

Negative points: We wanted to use the bathtub but the hot water won’t be even enough to take a shower to wash my hair. And the staff didn’t speak good English to understand us.

Positive points: The staff was always very kind and helpful. The bedroom is very wide, the bathroom too. A lot of space to move, and the bed was also very big. Having a restaurant available was really convenient. The room was cleaned everyday.

Negative points: Not easy to sleep with the air conditioner located just over one bed, with the cold and the noise. The dark room because of the window facing an opposing wall 2 meters away.

Review: My relatives send me a jacket through the receptionist. Then later when i come back to pick it up. The jacket was no where to be found. And all the receptionist all say they dont know. What kind of service is that, you stole a cheap jacket from customer, not even an expensive one

Positive points: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious -- twice as large as the other hotel I stayed at in Hanoi this trip and the Adonis was less expensive. The room was very, very clean and the location is wonderful, a short walk to the Old Quarter.
