Windbell Villa Hoi An

Review: If you are looking for an affordable stay for just two nights this is a good choice. Location wise it’s located across the bridge from the main area of Da Nang so you have to definitely get a taxi to go out. The staff is nice and there’s also free breakfast. Overall pretty ok.

Positive points: I liked the friendliness, and very obliging.

Review: Very nice place and the only thing that was difficult is that there are sets of steps to get most any where. They have NO hand railings so if you have knee or hip probelms it becomes difficult.
Our room had 4 narrow steps and the last would put you into the garden instead of a landing area.
We were there to visit relatives nearby so we enjoyed it.
The breakfast for good but not gourmet like some 4 star places.
The pool was too cold to get into for my stay.
The bed was comfortable.
It is quit a walk to the old town area but Grab ( Similair to Uber) was available or tazi would take you where you wated to go.

Positive points: Really nice hosts, helped us woth everything we needed. Great breakfast, the room was spacious and clean, really great shower and great pool. Highly recommended.

Review: You have to go on line for every night you want to extend. They won't just say sure you can have the room for the lesser amount that is constantly offered on line.
Also there are NO hand rails to take the steps. This was a real burden for me due to my new knee and soar hip.

Positive points: Loved everything about this hotel. Lovely staff, great location, nice breakfast, helpful. Big room and clean. Good bathroom.

Review: We stayed for 6 nights and were very happy with our stay. Excellent facilitate, clean rooms and really good breakfast. Hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from old town, this didn't bother us but if you don't like walking then perhaps consider that. Benefit of being out of town is that it is a bit quieter. The bikes we hired from the hotel were a bit old and falling apart, so perhaps just hire from a shop nearby. Otherwise, great hotel and would recommend.

Positive points: everything, the owner was really helpful and did everything they could to help, the room and facilities were the best we've had in Vietnam.

Review: After 4 years I returned to Windbell Villa. It is still a beautiful oasis, situated in a quiet, local area of busy Hoi An. The same family running the business, very helpfull and nice people! Local restaurants and cafes just outside the premises. Hoi An center in walking distance. An Bang beach just 3km away, bicycle-distance - bicycles for rent.

Review: Rooms, facility and breakfast were all excellent. But Windbell service was truly above and beyond. From the initial contact, to arranging the pickup and drop off from Danang, all the arrangements were flawless and always with a smile. When one of us needed medical help, the family called the doctor and taxi for us, gave us needed information, and were very caring during and afterwards. It was as if we were staying at a friend’s house when we needed a local friend. Thank you again!

Positive points: The room is very spacious and clean. Very well located. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Review: It’s quite close to the old quarter. The room was huge even with a family with small children like us. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here. Absolutely come back this place for our next trip to Hoi An.

Positive points: The hotel was perfectly located 10 min away walk from the centre, so it was quiet. There were some nice choices to eat / coffee nearby. The room was clean, the pool was really nice to relax after some sightseeing. I extended my stay for 2 more nights. The staff was super nice (they let me check in earlier, giving me a better room). Highly recommended

Review: It is off the path location but 20000 dong will get you to the hoian center by grab.

Has a nice but small pool to relax.
Breakfast can be chosen among 10 menus.
Very good quality breakfast.

Staff are nice
They provide taxi service from danag to hoian. Vice versa too. Their taxi is cheaper than grab.

Overall it is the best homstay comparing its price.

Review: The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. However the AC did not seem to work as well as it should. The location is quiet and the pool is awesome! However, the downside is taxi’s had difficulty in finding the place and were rather unpleasant when finding out it was across the bridge. However it is about a 10-15 min to the main market area.
The hotel staff were very helpful in booking tours, massages and airport transfers. Laundry is a good price and breakfast was included and good.

Positive points: The staff is amazing! They all are super cute and helpful. Also great laundry service, simple and good breakfast, nice pool. And our triple room and the bathroom were super spacious . Would come back.

Review: Reception staff member Young was incredibly helpful. The room was large and pool was great to cool off. There was a lot of mould in the ceiling of the room which was a bit concerning. Also really loud karaoke from the neighbors until late at night.

Positive points: That was a really pleasant stay with spacious and clean room, welcoming and very helpful staff, and decent breakfast. The hotel is surrounded by delicious restaurants, and located very close to Hoi A memories land (don’t miss out memories show!). The old town is reachable within 3 min drive. I enjoyed spending my time there.
