Review: The staff all speak english and are very helpful.
Positive points: The lady was nice however other staff were unhelpful
Negative points:
I hate writing bad reviews but feel like I have to be honest to other travellers. We arrived and we’re offered a ‘free upgrade’ to a tiny room (smaller than I had booked) which already confused us but we don’t like causing a fuss so agreed. However, once we started unpacking we noticed ants crawling all up the wall near the bed and along the cabinet, there was a DEAD lizard on the shelf in the bedside table and there was water leaking from the sink in the bathroom flooding the floor. When we went to reception to say we just couldn’t stay in that room they said sorry your original room has now gone, even though it had been 5/10 minutes. They had obviously over sold our original room and placed us in the worse option as a ‘free upgrade’. You couldn’t even go out onto the balcony, the ‘views’ were trees and the window was so thin it was so loud at night even though we are pretty good sleepers it kept us up!
The only reason this is getting a 2 is because for the last night they said a room had become available so could we move, this room was average. It we had been given it at the start I would have rated the place 6/10.
Review: We did not realize that what was posted for the standard room was not the actual photo. Good thing we were allowed to upgrade the room to a better one with balcony for only 150.000 Dong per night.
Negative points: Tot 2x toe de wake-up call vergeten.
Review: The receptionist is terrible and the bedsheets are not being changed.
Positive points: The bed was really comfortable. And the staff on reception were lovely.
Negative points:
My room looked like it needed some TLC,
It smelt damp. I found some air fresheners in the wardrobe so used them in the room and bathroom.
The bathroom had a leak from under the sink which made the floor extremely wet and slippery.
This was fixed on my last night.
The shower was very temperamental. Cold to really hot.
And as one of the last reviews wrote , the room was full of tiny ant like bugs crawling over the surfaces and on my phone screen.
I did have 3 nights amazing sleep though .

Review: This is my first time in Hanoi and staying at the hotel. What I like most is that the hotel is right in the center, so I can visit all the attractions at a very close distance. The staff here are very friendly and supportive. My room is a standard room, so it is quite small, but the feeling of privacy is comfortable. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Hanoi.
Positive points: The bed was big but the mattress was firm and I slept well surprisingly. The staff and location was the best part of the hotel.
Negative points: The room was big and decent but the shower was an annoyance. The shower doors were dirty and there was mold. The sheets had stains and look quite old. The walls were very thin, you can hear everything happening outside your room
