Positive points: Spacious, clean room, good shower and lovely pool area. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. Quiet at night, would stay here again.

Positive points: As a frequent traveler, I can say Yzistel is a great boutique hotel. The staff speaks excellent English, check-in was smooth, and every question we had was answered with genuine enthusiasm. The room was elegant, with everything we needed. Plus, the small café inside the hotel made for perfect mornings with a cup of Vietnamese coffee. We would definitely come back.

Review: I booked a Superior King bed room with city view, 32m2, with an extra charge for one adult on Agoda, but when I arrived to check in, the receptionist arranged for a room with a view of the hotel’s warehouse. The room was probably more than 10m2, very dark, and the sink was clogged the night before. The next morning, while my daughter was showering, the water tap had no water, and we had to put on clothes and wait for more than 30 minutes to get water back. I was extremely upset and raised my voice with the receptionist, presenting my booking as evidence that it was the room I reserved. The receptionist responded that my booking was automatically switched to that room by Agoda??? I really didn’t understand. I said I would call Agoda to clarify, and then about 15 minutes later, the receptionist informed me that I could change to the room *** which was the correct room I booked on Agoda. I endured extremely poor service for one night and one day. At home, I wouldn’t even be in such a dark, cramped room, and yet when traveling and paying for a room, I had to squeeze into such a low-quality room. Although on the second night at the hotel, I was changed back to the correct room I booked, I am still extremely upset with the way the hotel operates. I wonder if in the future when booking on Agoda, I will face a situation like this again? The price paid was for a different quality room while I had to stay in such a poor-quality room. I am very frustrated and disappointed. However, to be fair, the hotel is in a convenient location, very close and easy to move to Hoi An. The hotel is new and clean!
