Tam Giác Mạch Hotel

Review: I needed a cheap, simple, clean place to stay, before heading off on the Ha Giang loop the following day. The Tam Giac Mach hotel was fantastic (it, and this area of town were so good, I ended up staying two nights!)

The staff are all friendly and go out of their way to assist. For the more complex questions I had, they were very quick to call a near-native English speaker to help out.

This is a family run hotel, so everything is much friendlier and quicker to do. Check-in was quick, and I was up in the room on under a minute.

The rooms are reasonably sized, with air-conditioning and a fan to help you cool down. Bathroom was good, with strong water pressure (and heat!) and the rest of the western comforts you'd expect.

The area is fantastic. On a quiet street, but still within walking distances of FANTASTIC restaurants, markets and shops. The entire area is surrounded with impressively green mountains which look amazing.

The family were able to help me out with some tours and motorbikes... Even organising a rider to take me to inspect before committing to anything.

Overall, it is a great hotel, made better with the friendly help of the family who operate it.
