Splendid Holiday Hotel Hanoi

Review: The hotel staff & assisted us when we needed it. They took care of us as soon as we arrived. Their food is great. Location is near st. Joseph's cathedral. Restaurants & stores are aplenty. Many more can be reached by walking. The rooms were cleaned everyday. You'll never be disappointed with this accommodation.

Review: The hotel has expanded into adjacent facilities which can be noisy and not well taken care of. The original hotel is fine the staff very helpful.

Review: Recently, my wife and I booked a stay at this hotel. Upon our arrival on the check-in day, we were informed that there were no vacant rooms available, but they assured us one would be available the following day. This was perplexing and frustrating, given that we had already paid and received confirmation of our booking. Upon researching the hotel's reviews on Google, it became apparent that this was a recurring issue for many guests.

It's incredibly disappointing to encounter such a situation, particularly when arriving from another country. The uncertainty and lack of accommodation on our first day in Vietnam made for a stressful and unsettling experience.

After being relocated to another hotel, our disappointment only grew. The new accommodation was worst, with a cramped elevator, foul odors in the room, a leaking ceiling, and a jammed toilet door. It was truly an unpleasant experience.

Fortunately, the following day, we were finally able to check into the original hotel, which provided some relief.

Positive points: We had an excellent stay at Splendid Holiday Hotel. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. We were moved to a room with a balcony on request which overlooked the Cathedral and made for an interesting spot for people watching. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. Kemmie who organised our trip to Ninh Binh, Michael who lugged luggage from room to room, the girl who gave me a Vietnamese massage but to name a few. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Positive points: Excellent service, fabulous location. Friendly and helpful staff, good value for money.

Review: nearby the St Joseph Catedral , and very friendly staff

Positive points: We arrived at 3:30am and checked in with ease. We were also given a free room update. The staff are incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to help. Rooms are comfortable with a good shower too.

Review: They show a fancy premium rooms cruise called Santa Maria and they you get a run down, poor hygiene, extra charges, nails coming out of the woodwork in the rooms.
The only bad cheating experience we had in Vietnam

Positive points: Great staff, Ding was exceptional, sorting out my trips. Harry was always on site to change money etc, and the reception staff were really friendly. Great location, perfect for my first visit to the big city.

Review: when I reached to here, the staff introduce me a room on the top.
Going to my room, I have to walk from elevator.
The highest floor wasn't elevator.
In addition, the cleaning of room was terrible.
This space filled of dust smell. there are unknown long hair on the bed. (I'm man.)
If you are okay to sleep anyplace, It doesn't matter.
But If not, DO NOT BOOK this hotel.

Positive points: Almost everything was excellent. Fantastic friendly staff and service. Our rooms were upgraded which was a nice touch.

Review: Will not comeback again. Cabs can not go to the hotel since it's located in a narrow street. You must walk about 100 meters with your luggage or get there on scooters. The elevator doesn't work properly. I was stucked in the elevator about 2 or 3 minutes at the mid-night.

Review: They gave us a very bad Room, we were told not to Open the windows so nobody could stole our things.
A personal from staff entered to our room without knocking the door.

The breaksfast is terrible. They sell a buffet breakfast but it is a lie. Terrible coffe too.

Positive points: Awesome location. Great spa - much needed foot massage one day and body massage another day. Excellent service.
