RUBY STAR HOTEL

Review: This is a 2 star hotel. I only picked this hotel on a Saturday night due to its cheap price compared to other hotel and it also offered free breakfast. The breakfast was ok, not that great. The bed was big and ok, except the room where I stayed in room 403, the AC didn’t work, I complained to the front desk staff, he switched me to room 402 and this room works better with the AC. The only thing they are missing are hand towels and hand soap, but I guess since it is a cheap budget hotel in district 1, so it is ok to me, not bad but I may not stay here again, unless all of the other hotels are too expensive, then this is maybe my choice at last.

Positive points: Room was adequate. Location was easy walking distance to local attractions in districts 3 and 1.

Positive points: Staff were very nice and helpful. Bathroom was quite spacious by Vietnamese standards. Breakfast quite good except they wouldn't serve milk with coffee. Room was too small for a family of 4. One of the beds was uncomfortable, lumpy. TV and fridge didn't work. They also required me to pay on arrival which was the first time in Vietnam I had to do so. It was the most expensive of about 6 hotels that we stayed in in Vietnam and it was the worse. Very disappointing.

Review: Not worth the price. We could even see the kitchen when we were having their breakfast and it was so very unhygienic. We barely ate after seeing that. Plus the rooms weren't even clean properly. And the ground floor near the reception smells like piss because it's located near the bathroom which they don't clean either. I would never recommend this place ever.

Positive points: Breakfast has only 2 options. Soup or egg and bread.

Review: Our group tour with Zahra Tours and Travels included a stay at Ruby Star Hotel. The hotel offers a good environment and a convenient location near Ben Thanh Market, making it easy to explore. While room service could be more efficient, the overall experience was pleasant for a budget-friendly 2-star hotel.

Positive points: Good cheap little hotel, pretty close to everything, but not that close to Bin Thang Markets to be truthful. Nice relaxing park 80m away, highland coffee across road and some pretty good eateries around. The double bed is just 2 vey big beds pushed together (lol), but asked for and got a window (Room 403 at front)
