Review:
The property looks appealing in the pictures, and the room was well-set, clean, and offered a touch of luxury. However, the beach was not as advertised—the tide covered most of the sand for much of the time. The outdoor facilities, while spacious, were outdated and lacked proper maintenance. For instance, the pool loungers had broken parts, and the deck was missing or had damaged pieces.
The location is also a bit inconvenient, as the city or any food, drinks, or attractions are a 15-minute drive away. While you can eat and drink on-site, the prices are outrageously high. For example, a basic dish costs around 400,000 VND, while you could enjoy a full meal at a nice restaurant in the city for about 500,000 VND, including a drink. Similarly, a coconut ice cream, which would cost around 40,000 VND in the city, was priced at 120,000 VND on-site—three times more expensive. The prices felt more in line with a 5-star hotel, yet the property itself might be lucky to earn 3 stars, forgot to mention paint was needed in the outside walls of the hotel.
That said, the staff was fantastic, and the surroundings were truly beautiful. Despite the drawbacks, the service and the natural beauty of the area were the highlights of our stay.
Positive points: Beautiful and very quiet location. Very pleasant balcony.
Negative points:
Bathrooms water evacuation. No hooks to handle the towels..
A pool that needed cleaning.
In need of some basic maintenance.
A certain lack of attention to detail.

Positive points: There is a private beach, usable on low tide which for us was noon, on high tide there is no sand beach. Very nice personnel, possibility to rent a scooter, and with scooter the road from center is actually very nice to drive. I do prefer this location to the center as the center is a bit dull
Negative points: There was a smell of mushrooms in the room, and there seemed to be some clumps under the wallpaper. The rooms are a bit in need of renovation.

The bay that it is located in is beautiful, although be aware that you can only swim in the sea at low tide.
In general, my room, which was ocean facing with a balcony, was very nice, it just had a few little problems like a strange smell that I would notice when I first entered the room, the door wouldn't shut without me pulling up a bit on the doorknob, the cabinet door to the fridge also needed help, and a drawer at a writing desk would open up on its own as the desk was slanted.
The pool was lovely, but as I have seen on other reviews, it needs a good cleaning as there was some algae on the tiles on the walls of the pool. It had a very strange toilet/shower by the pool too...with a huge room with a toilet all by itself in the corner. There was no door to stop anyone from coming in while you might be doing your business...
The scooter rental was great. 150k dong for the day.
The shuttle service to and from the airport was also good.
Negative points:
The staff was kind of pleasant, but they need some more training. If you want to be a 4 star hotel with Western clients, things like clearing the tables at breakfast, lunch and dinner need to be more prompt. One breakfast buffet I walked in and there were only half of the tables occupied, but there was only one table to choose from as the rest of them had dirty dishes on them. They have an egg station at the buffet, but even though there weren't many people dining, the lady would pre-cook eggs and an omelette, which weren't under a heat lamp, so you often received a cold dish. It's the only place in Vietnam where the egg station wasn't cooked to order.
One dinner I ordered mushroom carbonara and the menu stated that it had ham and bacon, but it only came with mushrooms. I complained, a manager came over (the first one I saw since I was there) and they sent it back and gave me a new one that was better. It wasn't quite worth the Western price that they charged...but better. However, I would have thought that the manager would come by and check on me, that everything was good...but I didn't see him again. At that dinner too, 1/3 of the tables had dirty dishes on them and there were 3 staff and the manager standing/sitting by the bar, not bothering to clear them. Kinda ruins the ambience. And you are kind of stuck with what they give you as the nearest restaurant is 10 km away in town.
The resort seems like it would have been amazing 25 years ago, but not much upkeep has happened since. There's paint peeling on the outside of the building and chipped marble stairs. There's supposed to be a "Sky Bar" on the 5th floor but that is not operational and seems to be under some repair. Same with the pool, there are seats in the pool to have a pool bar, but it is not in operation.
This place could be good again...but some effort and investment is required by the owners

Review: We did not want to be in town. This place was secluded. Loved it. Very nice helpful staff. Grounds were clean but for some reason, all the windows throughout were dirty. Very nice, huge pool. We will definitely stay here again.
Positive points: The hotel is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. It is not very close to the city but you can rent a motorbike for half a day (70k vnd) or a full day (150k vnd). Or take a taxi for 200kvnd one way. There is also a free shuttle in the morning and in the afternoon and free round trip airport transfer. The food for breakfast is quite good, there is a wide range of choices, for everyone. But what is really great is the effort the staff puts in to go the extra mile and make our stay as pleasant as possible. I really appreciated the human touch, it is very valuable. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable for my whole family.
Review: The hotel has a wonderful location with a beach in front and mountains on the back. But the service and management are a bit poor. I booked a sea view room, but they gave me the mountain view one. They said the problem was on Agoda's side, but it took them very long to resolve the problem. Personally, I don't really like the way they solve the problem either. The manager told me to cancel the booking so we could get the money back later. I didn't know how to do it, so I got him to do it for me, but when I checked it again, he wrote that the reason was that I could not come, which is pretty strange for me. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It doesn't have a wide variety of food, and the servers don't go around checking if the food is running out or not, I had to go and tell them myself, which is not a good experience for me . The room service is great, there is nothing to complain about. Overall, if you are looking for a runaway and want to stay out of the city, it can be a decent choice. For anyone who needs good service and wants to have a great experience in Con Dao, this place is not on my recommendation.

Review: It’s not closed to the center. The staffs are very helpful. They can get a taxi for you if you want to visit other places . The beach can’t swim. The breakfast is okay. The foods aren’t good! We will not come back!
