Positive points: Very spacious. Gracious host. Great breakfast. Good location.
Negative points: It is what we expected for a rustic Homestay . Fine for us more adventurous travelers
Positive points:
First and foremost Luan and his family are wonderful hosts. They help you in anyway they can. Motor bike, tour, transportation. They prepared nice breakfast’s as well.
There is only one unit on the river and it is very nice. Lots of room. Nice little porch to watch the river traffic and have breakfast. It’s on one level in one large room divided by a bookcase. Very comfortable. An eating table with chairs and two occasional chairs up front. A sofa, day bed, double bed kitchen type sink and counter in the main portion and the patio and bathroom on the river. Great tub for a cool soak on a hot afternoon.
There are a couple little eateries close with limited menus. Across the river is the Market and the town square where there’s street food and more restaurants can be found on the Main Street.
Negative points:
This is not a didn’t like. It’s a “this is the way it is.”
The other units are across the street. The bottom area is open with a seating area and the bathroom. Upstairs is the air conditioned bedroom. It’s comfortabe but “opened” meaning as people walk by they can look into the living area. During thundershowers part of the area can get wet. There’s a luggage problem too. Do you haul your luggage upstairs or keep it down. Either way you’ll be going up and down a not to easy stairway. That 3am bathroom break in a killer.
Positive points: The balcony overlooks the Mekong. It had working air conditioning, the host was attentive, and the breakfast was simple & tasty - eggs with home made rolls. We LOVED the location.
Negative points: The facilities were only ok and the bath was a little rustic. the River can be noisy during the day but it quieted down at night.
Review: We loved our stay at Nam Thi’s place. Right on the river. Magical.
Positive points: I adored this little place by the river! Very homey vibes and way bigger than expected. There's a kitchen, a bathtub, two beds, a sofa and armchairs to relax and read. Bicycles also available to move around Cai Be town. Having breakfast with the boats passing by is priceless, I will definitely be back!
Negative points: It gets noisy around 4 AM with the boats passing by so maybe not ideal for light sleepers. Also, there are no international restaurants around so you should be comfortable with delicious street food and a more local lifestyle.
Review:
The beautiful decorated flat has 2 rooms, an own bathroom and a wonderful balcony with very comfortable chairs wonderful to sit there at any time of the day in the shade of a big tree. Everything was very clean, the bed comfortable and AC and a fridge can be used.
The hosts are very helpful and delicious breakfest is included. We stayed 4 nights and did eat 3 delicious dinner on the terrace of the owner. Tony took us to a very intresting boatstour on the mekong river. We used the 2 good bycyles for free to make an intreting excursion recommeded by Tony.
As the flat is very nearby the Floating market you have to expect some hours sound very early in the morning on some dayes.

Review: Phòng ở như hình ngay mé sông mát mẻ thoáng đãng, bài trí đẹp nhiều không gian sinh hoạt. Tuy nhiên phòng hơi tối, bụi và có vẻ ít sử dụng đợt này. Dưới chăn mền rất nhiều bụi và ngủ rất ngứa.
