Mambo Beach Resort

Positive points: Overall a decent place to stay if you are diving. The A/C doesn’t really cool the room during the day. We were here in April and stayed in Rm #10. The food and service are solid. My husband did 7 dives in 3 days and most of dive staff were awesome. My only issue was i needed to cancel a snorkel trip the day before I was to “snorkel” . I had snorkeled that morning and got seasick. They wouldn’t let me cancel saying I needed a Dr’s note. My husband spent approximately $300 with the dive shop…yet they still charged me approximately $30 for a snorkel trip that would’ve made me miserable….”this is not the way to do business”!

Positive points: Awesome property, totally worth it. The entire experience was exceptional and the food & staff are amazing!! Highly recommended!!

Positive points: Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice view to the gardens and ocean. Wonderful staff who seemed genuinely happy with their jobs.

Positive points: We absolutely fell in love with this location. We were fortunate to stay in Unit 1 which had a pool right outside our patio door. The restaurant onsite is wonderful plus the lounge chairs/beds are a great place to relax after a morning of diving. We did not want to leave. The staff are extremely helpful when you have questions or need a taxi. They are a dive resort and offer dive classes and excursions right there. We are planning our return next year. Can’t wait.

Review: Had a great stay at this resort. The staff is very courteous and always smiling.nnThis is also a dive resort , we took discover scuba diving with them. Their attention to safety and focus on minute details is impeccable. Highly recommended.

Positive points: Rooms are beautiful and very spacious. There are usb chargers on each side of the bed which is great for charging phones, etc. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is a great size. Shower was nice and had both a handheld shower and a rain head. Hair dryer is awesome and the swim up pool is really refreshing. Location is great and they offer a free shuttle to pick you up from the port and take you back. There is fresh mineral water in the rooms which you can refill from a water cooler at the dive office. Staff is very helpful. The decor and landscaping is beautiful with a clear roof which gives you the feeling of being outdoors while still being protected from any rain that might come.

Review: We went there with our infant and we had booked a pool access room. The place is beautifully done. Staff here is very kind and helpful. Location is superb. Food is fabulous

Positive points: On sight boat excursions, pool outside my balcony and beach just steps away.nThis morning we had breakfast overlooking beach and saw dolphins. Music on property in evenings was great!nI would come again in a heartbeat! The manager Wesley was so helpful when we needed to make a call lending us his phone. Room was clean and towel art fun!nLoved it all!

Positive points: Everything. Nice and clean, welcome little presents, very nice staff, eager to help, the restaurant is really cool, right on the seaside, with live music .. we literally fell in love with the place.
