Positive points: Water supply would just stop randomly in the middle of a shower. Cabinet doors very difficult to open.nOtherwise all good

Negative points: Dark rooms. Place just felt very enclosed and room didn’t feel comfy. Room smelt of mould. I feel reviews were misleading, I wouldn’t stay here again

Positive points: The best place to stay on Nusa Penida! (Stayed in different bungalows on the island over 3 weeks)nGreat value for money, super clean, comfortable bed, good AC, mirror in the room, comfortable chairs outside, good water pressure, quiet.nYou can rent scooters there for a good price, book boats (cheaper than 12go.asia) and so on. nAnd the property manager Novi is extremely friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't think twice where to stay..
Negative points: The bathroom mirror could be bigger (and higher up).
Review: If we had the time we would have stayed longer. Our host was brilliant, she booked snorkelling for us and drove down with us to make sure we were at the right place and signed us in. Also she offered breakfast at a good price which saved us having to leave early in the mornings. Location was great for us as it was out of the main harbour but close enough to go for dinner but you do need a scooter to get around. Good air con, WiFi, and a very comfortable bed. 100% would come back and stay!
Positive points: Nice homestay. Clean, comfortable room with AC. The owner makes you breakfast for a cheap price—a fair price for what it offers.
Review: Room and bathroom is huge. Free drinking water through out the day. Even you can refill the water bottle. They even offer snorkeling with very decent price. Very polite couple. Highly recommend.

Review: Our stay at Banana House was truly exceptional. The staff was outstanding—always friendly, smiling, and incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and spotless, easily one of the best accommodations we've had in our eight months of traveling. The room's light, airy atmosphere and a terrace overlooking the garden added to the charm.nnWhile the kitchen was on the smaller side with limited gadgets, it was sufficient for our needs. The complimentary water and fridge were a nice touch. We highly recommend staying here. However, a scooter or personal driver is essential, as it’s out of town. The streets on Nusa Penida can be quite challenging though.
Positive points: Very nice sisters running the place. They use WhatsApp to organise everything for you. There is no gojek/grab on the island so you will need a driver. They sorted a driver for us Taxi Black - he's worth a shout out as he was very friendly and good fun to be driving around with. You will need extra cash for this service. Room is clean and basic. Ok in comparison to other accommodation in Bali. Little around so I would stay 1/2nights max.
Negative points: Little bit more expensive than mainland but that is to be expected. Room was perfect for the night.
Review: Fantastic big room with en-suite and patio area. nLovely family who own it. Very clean with comfortable bed. nYou need a scooter but I think that’s the same anywhere on the Island. nCan walk to the bistro restaurant.

Negative points: everything. this was the worst accommodation I have stayed at in 4 months of solo traveling Bali. I read the reviews and was expecting a good value for the budget but absolutely everything went wrong on this trip and the staff did nothing to accommodate. after asking 4 days before arrival for transport at the boat harbour, and a confirmation that they would pick me up, I ended up waiting for over an hour at the harbour just for them to tell me they can’t take me with luggage and I have to pay for taxi. during all of this negotiation they tell me I can cancel my stay if I like (where the f would I go as this was the day I arrived ????? and had everything planned through them????) I then go through the hotel to get a scooter (after they tried to increase the price from the agreed upon 50 to 80), this ends up being a long back and fourth and finally I get a scooter which breaks down less than 2 hours after having it. they tried to blame me (when in reality the battery was shot), and still charged me the entire price of the scooter even though I ended up spending a total of 4 hours on my one day in penida waiting for them, whether it be from at the harbor or when I was stuck at keling keling with no ride. the room was honestly not clean and had a weird smell, and there was a spider in my bed. this was the first stay in Bali that I have had that was genuinely awful and I recommend you stay anywhere else.
Review: it's approx 3.5 km from Buyuk Harbour.nLocation is good, staff is always ready to help .nDon't expect extraordinary from this place it has a small garden view, no pool or other fancies.nIf you're out full day exploring nusa penida and will come back at night to relax and sleep then this is a place to stay .n
Positive points: Great place to stay on the island! Exceptional service, close to many Warungs/cafes, Super quick to respond and help out, and excellent rooms with cold a/c and hot water. Can't ask for much more, especially for the price! Special thanks to the owner for helping us out with our luggage and giving us a free ride on our day of departure that too on such short notice. You are a legend 🙌
