Lan Ha Lotus Cruise

Negative points: This is basically fake advertising. The rooms are disgusting and we regret spending any money on this. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the sheets were dirty, the toliet seat was about to fall off anytime you touched it. The welcome lunch is terrible and I wish they’d tell you the lack of food options before booking. Breakfast is also just as bad. The dinners were okay but we made sure to fill up on snacks before hand because it was never enough. AND they don’t offer any food outside of the meal time. I will say the drinks were GOOD though! BUT it says it’s all inclusive and the drinks aren’t included… not even water. such a rip off!

We had no idea people were getting on every day. Which meant we heard the exact same speech everyday…. We would have booked with someone else initially then. We also somehow were the only people on the ship at one point. WITH NO FACILITY TO GET ANY KIND OF DRINK, NOT EVEN WATER. It was like they wanted us shoved away in our rooms all day till the next group of people came. And when we tried to sit outside their laundry was everywhere. The excursion to the village was extremely boring. They gave us 2 hours of free time to walk around this one street village and we had no idea what to do. It was the most boring day of our time in Vietnam so far.

Negative points: The cruise Operator was first of all not so communicative, we had been constantly trying to contact them for many weeks prior but no response. Then suddenly they cancelled our booking less than 24hrs before via WhatsApp message (instead of intimation via booking. Com official channel) and they were pressuring us to cancel the booking on our own via booking.com. They didn't care one bit about the tourists welfare (inspite of us having a big group booking) and did not provide any other alternative arrangement etc. As tourists we felt abandoned on short notice!! I am even doubtful now if this listing is even legit, since they were not ready to give us more information or give us their office address in Hanoi to visit and talk to them etc. Even the posted photos looked like it's been lifted from other places potentially.

Utterly baddd experience, since it was difficult for us to look for last minute options especially to accommodate a large group like ours. Don't book this one, you'll be saved a lot of mental trauma.

Negative points: Had to pay for all beverages except 2 waters/day

Negative points: I thought the boat might actually go to more that two locations

Negative points: The bedsheets were very clearly not changed. The boat did not have some of the amenities that were listed. The food that was offered was very limited even after telling staff about food allergies and preferences.

Negative points: Unfortunately there was trash around the cruise and you couldn’t enjoy the view from the balcony seeing trash swimming in front of you, at least it was not the whole time like that. But really sad to see

Negative points: The bathroom cleanliness, the food was not that good.

Negative points: First of all, there is a fee of 3.5% you pay if you pay with a credit card, which was nowhere mentioned, just on the spot once you are paying, which I found as an absolute scam. First lunch on the boat was horrible, the rest was just fine. Activities sound good on the paper, but it's pretty repetitive and not attractive at all, as you spend more time on a small boat than on the cruise. Also, I would like to underline that 1 day is enough, 2 days are just too much for what it offers.
