Positive points: Very beautiful structure in a lovely, lush compound. We loved the big windows with gorgeous plants outside, the big and comfortable bed, the very sweet dogs, and how quiet the place was. The price couldn't be beat either.
Negative points: We had a difficult time with the coordination and communication from management. We waited about 1.5 hours for someone to come let us in even though we confirmed exactly when we would be arriving. There was lots of confusion over the scooter rental with again more waiting for someone to come, then we had to turn around midway through our trip to drop the scooter back off due to miscommunication on drop off time (this was partially on us). Our passport for the scooter rental was left lying around in a public place with no one on site to look after it. Everyone who worked onsite was very friendly, the management was just a bit clunky.
Positive points: The 2 sweet pomeranians who greeted us when we arrived! Owner was gracious highly responsive and accommodating. Breakfast was very good and serving was very generous!
Negative points: Bed mattress in some cottages we’re not comfortable hence why I transferred to another unit. Chairs in the next unit were not perfectly stable.
Positive points: The room was in a beautiful garden and had a nice and peaceful view of the river. Good air conditioning and more spacious than I expected.
Review: Definitely doesn't look like in pictures, the room was very dirty and the bedsheets smell like unwashed. The location is cute and cute dogs run around but it's not as good as it seems.
Positive points: The hostel is Very cosy. A lot of plants everywhere and a nice area to chill and hang out. Free bikes (which are a little bit old an yeah not the best). We got a free breakfast (bread and egg).
Negative points: The communication with the staff is not easy but it works with Google translate.
Review: You stay in a beautiful private hut close to the city of Ben tre but still hidden and you can enjoy the birds and nature. Amazing tours around and a lot to do, staff was nice and helpful, it was nice to be able to use the kitchen for cooking and enjoy fireflies in the night. AC in the hut was big plus, since it got pretty warm inside. Could definitely visit again.
Positive points: Pet friendly, has garden, quiet area
Negative points: No hot water (despite informed and fixing, still no) Room is old worn out Bed is dirty
Review: Lots of greenery and shade. Loving dogs. Cozy cabins
Positive points: Nice green space to wake up to.
Negative points: I stayed at a “cabin” but it’s more like a bungalow. It’s not completely enclosed so mosquitoes and cockroaches can come in (and they did). The location is out of town so it’s not very convenient. Staff spoke little English and wasn’t able to help much.
Review: The whole place was a bit run-down. Lots of ants.
Positive points: The gardens were lovely, the staff helpful and generous, the dogs were very cute and entertained the children for hours. We used the bikes a lot which are very simple and old but functional, it was fun riding out into town for meals.
Negative points: Don't be dopey like us and not realise the hut we booked had no air conditioning, plus the thing is bamboo and all the creatures can get in. The a frame bungalow was ok, we ended up all sleeping there. The mattresses and sheets could really be replaced they were spiky, plus there was only one functional and quite small mozzie net.
Review: if you wanna relax in a peaceful area with good rooms, laid back staff and nice dogs this is a good place to stay
Positive points: The bungalows were better than expected. Comfortable and spacious. Hot water and good AC. There are several dogs but they're small and adorable, they don't approach the bungalow area so that's okay too.
Negative points: There isn't a proper reception after 5pm. If a guest is in an emergency that could be a problem. It was okay for us but if anyone is expecting 24/7 service, that won't happen here. We had to order food from reception through WhatsApp but it took a full hour. Also, there was Karaoke just outside playing from 5pm. They stopped at 8pm for a Monday but I'm not sure if that's a common thing during the week, let alone the weekend. It took away the chilling and relaxing we expected in this hidden area.
Positive points: Service of perfection!
