Review: This stay was a trip highlight. Loved the ease of arranging everything through them, including fun boat trip. Nice other guests. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the area. Would love to return.
Positive points: What a place. It was like having room service. You told them what you wanted to eat, and what time, and it was delivered right to you. You dined in a beautiful location, right on the river. We took the tour offered by the owner. GREAT
Positive points: Beautiful spot, lovely people, great food. Went on a really interesting boat trip with the owner. When we realised we'd accidentally booked a room without A/C, they found us another room. Wonderful!
Negative points: Make sure you book the a/c room!!
Review: The homestay is beautifully located and offers a very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, not only regarding the homestay itself but also with recommendations and support beyond that. They really went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place, especially for groups.
Positive points: Lovely setting and people. Very comfortable beds.
Positive points: Everything was like pictures shown. I recommend you order the Home stay food. Very delicious. Better than restaurants outside.
Negative points: Only if More staff can speak English
Review: It's a must visit area. The host is friendly and speaks good English. The food is very tasty and portions are generous. The AC unit works well. The only thing not recommend is the day tour by car to the floating market. Quite disappointing, a lot of just sitting in a small car on bumpy roads, no appropriate meals organized and just to expensive for all this. You might find the fridge turned off by the hosts during the day, with everything warmed up inside. All in all a recommend experience.
Positive points: Basic good breakfast served on a private terrace with a great river view. Such a peaceful and quiet property.
Negative points: Mosquitos and unfortunately no kayaking.
Review: Great location. Very peaceful and relaxing. Very nice staff and good food too.
Positive points: This place is the best. Its rustic but beautiful. The people are amazing, the food is good, the WIFI was great (I work remote and had the smoothest meetings in Vietnam)? The pool is nice, the tour was great, the bed was comfy, it was clean... you get it. Don't look further!
Negative points: Leaving
Positive points: Beautiful riverside homestay. Magical place, tropical wild garden, fruit trees, very nice owner and ladies cooking and serving. We felt the true spirit of the Mekong Delta here. 2 hour River boat trip conducted by the owner was very pleasant, highly recommended.
Negative points: Everything was fine.
Review: Very good!
Positive points: The pool was great, the room was very clean and comfortable, the surrounding area is gorgeous, the food is excellent, and the staff are so lovely. To enjoy all of what there is at the homestay, I would recommend bringing some insect repellent. The location is quite rural, so there are mosquitoes and flies. But there are also fireflies!
Negative points: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Review: Super 2 night stay near Ben Tre which is around 16km away - there are bikes you can borrow or organise a car/Grab to get around. The food was great and Minh Y and the family always super helpful and responsive. Bungalows are clean, have AC, and are a comfortable stay.
Positive points: Super friendly and helpful staff
Review: Enjoyed this homestay. A bit of construction of new villas underway. Nice semi private outdoor eating areas to have your breakfast. Felt a bit of pressure to order dinner and breakfast ahead for kitchen planning but that is homestay style. Beds very comfy and room and pool both clean. Hosts very helpful with finding ATM and also helping with transport to next Mekong city as I couldn’t get a Grab taxi despite booking. Bikes for lending in great working order!
Positive points: Very friendly folks, a peaceful cottage in the lush Mekong. Went on a boat tour which was beautiful and interesting, especially seeing the live-aboard fish farm and the boats along the Mekong. I could have done without the visit to the tourist oriented places - honeybee farm and chocolate, etc., but maybe I'm in the minority here! The pool was a nice addition on the very hot days.
Negative points: Food wasn't quite as good as I would have hoped. The Vietnamese food seemed very tamed down for western tastes. I did find a very good Vegetarian spot about a 25 minute walk, however!
