Review: Breath taking scenery while cursing down these phenomena limestone structures. Definitely a 6stars!

Cruise experience overall was average.
However the dinner, the crew, and definitely the tour guide Mr Lam, made up for the shortfalls.
Mr Lam was such a legend!! Did the extra mile to ensure the cruise group were well taken care of especially visiting the sites which was super crowded and queues were so disorderly and badly disorganised.

Facilities of the cruise was so-so, nothing much to do but that was why we signed up Hermes. Just wanted more privacy, less crowded and quiet.

Cabin was ok, nothing much to comment, it was quite dated but overall still considered clean. Balcony was a plus and the problem is the smoker! As much as we wanted to chill outside the balcony and enjoy, we’re quite unfortunate to have a chain smoker right above us (btw we’re at level1). The cruise should really look into separating the smoking cabins from the non smoking ones.

Review: Staff was rude

Positive points: It’s a newer vessel. Clean and classic. As we look along the Halong Bay and see other cruise boats, we get the feeling of ‘pride’ to be a part of a much nicer boat.

Review: Tommy the cruise manager showed good personal discussion to everybody and everyone was made feel special. All staff were helpful and attentive. The timing was followed as per the planned itinerary and food was delicious. We liked every dish and seafood was delicious. Pho chicken was perfect. Bed and linen was top class. Jacuzzi was working excellent. Enjoyed all the facilities. Tai chi was not conducted as per plan it was disappointing. Overall excellent cruise experience.

Positive points: I can’t tell you enough how absolutely amazing this cruise is. I did a 2 day one night stay with my husband on our honeymoon. There are many cruises to pick from to see this beautiful part of the world, but Hermes gives a level of luxury and tranquility that is unmatched. Tommy was a wonderful manager and tour guide for our off-boat adventures (stunning caves, cliffs, and beaches!!). Jack was so pleasant and accommodating, even setting up a private table for us to enjoy our dinner. All of the staff was kind, welcoming, and attentive, always wearing a smile. We are already planning to come back, and certainly will be staying two nights in the future. If you want the most amazing experience, do yourself a favor and book Hermes for your trip to Halong Bay

Review: The ship is not well maintained. Yhe room is smelly and the air conditioner is dirty. The water stuck in shower room after shower

Positive points: My husband never went on a cruise, so I booked the trip as gift for his birthday. Everything was lovely, room on boat was comfy, scenery and activities are great. We were very well-fed throughout the trip. The staff is super attentive. They even arranged us a surprise birthday cake and song which sent my hubby to a land of so many first time ever.

Review: Rooms are ok ,Dinner was ok as it was a sit down ala carte menu. Brunch and breakfast was simple buffet,not much variety and items are not replenished as staffs are not aware or busy trying to sell drinks .

Positive points: All the staff are very friendly, helpful,and willing to help. The food are delicious. The room is clean and comfortable.

Review: The newest and best cruise on Halong Bay!

Positive points: We enjoyed all the food and beverages. The staff were very attentive. The cruise was very clean. The transportation provided was excellent.

Review: We had booked two rooms for 1N 2D with Hermes Cruise. It was completely worth it, Lam was the manager/Guide he was very helpful and arranged for a cake as well during our stay. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful experience and totally worth the stay.

Positive points: Everything was perfect. Tommy Bui and Lam Nguyen were awesome host. We will definitely refer our friends and family to Hermes Cruise.

Review: It's a must go to take a cruise in Halong bay! We've visited famous locations like titop Island, surprise caves and did kayaking. Mr Lam our cruise guide was bubbly and very humorous, which made the trip more memorable. All meals on board was good but drinks are chargeable. Wished they would have at least provided water during meal time.

Review: The trip was really fun, enjoyable, and time-efficient. The food is also magnificent and very delicious. The staffs are also very friendly and english-fluent. The tour guide (Mr. Lam) is very outgoing and joyful. Overall, this is a very exciting trip to go onboard.
