Review: No bfast buffet as adverstised... not so good experience as the hotel is under construction with lots of clutter inside the hotel even inside the elevator!

Positive points: Fantastic hotel for a few days in the city.
Great location, 5 minutes walk from downtown beer street, train street, supermarket etc on a quiet street.
Room was clean and very comfortable, but access was up some windy stairs, with a lift to/ from the 2nd floor.
Staff were great and very helpful calling taxi to airport (half the price of one from the airport).

Review: The rooms were not as advertised. The pictures are misleading. Open the curtain to see a brick wall in your face. The toilet was so close to the wall, I was unable to sit on it straight. We paid for breakfast and showed the staff and didn't give us breakfast. I would never recommend this place.

Review: We Paid extra for free breakfast and the hotel would NOT give us free breakfast. We showed them our receipts, and they still refused to honour what we paid for. Some of the staff were friendly but most couldn't be bothered. They treated the lobby as there home. Eating, playing on theirs and sleeping on the sofa. This was every day. The cleaning staff were friendly and did a good job, but unfortunately one bed was full of mold so I can't even give cleanliness a good score. It was bad all around.

I have pictures to prove we paid for breakfast and of the mold but don't see an option to add photos

Agoda shouldn't be supporting this hotel.

Positive points: I booked the Ninh Binh tour through the hotel. The price was exactly the same as what i found online. The tour was amazing, loved the tour guide and the company we had for the trip. Very organised, the tour guide texted you the night before. Easy to communicate with and soooo polite. I couldn’t have asked for a better service.

Positive points: Great location and very friendly staff. A little squeezy for a family of 5, but it was central to all we wanted to do. Very friendly and helpful staff to assist us.

Review: We had king bed with one single. I had booked 3 queen but it was changed when we arrived. Too tired to argue. Toilet leaked water onto floor constantly. Bathroom door does not have a handle to close it once you are inside. There are other 3 star things that could be better but the bed was very comfy and the place is fairly good location. The staff were very helpful. I would possibly stay again and will recommend it for its value but it needs some management attention. Attention to details makes for a better business.

Review: It's easy to travel around Old Quarter on foot. There are many popular places you can explore.

Positive points: Ok let's clear a few things here. Pictures are definitely from when the hotel was new! Lobby looks totally different, a bit messy but clean. It's very dark there. They dont serve breakfast so the option with breakfast is useless. They tell you to go 1km from the hotel to have breakfast (seriously?) you have nice bahn mi next door! Location is great, very close to train street and old town.
Our room had windows facing THE WALL so there was no natural light in the room. Another room had a balcony facing the street so it's with good light but a bit loud in the morning during the week as there is a school next door. Very nice staff, helped with bags to drop to the next street as where the hotel is located the road is closed for cars.
The description of the room is totally different from what you get. It says it's a fireplace, bathrobes etc but it's a lie.
Bathroom was very small but bigger than in a room next door which was more expensive (?) and had big mould on the ceiling.
Very comfortable bed and big but it's two twin beds jointed.
Best is elevator! You need to go to first floor by stairs to get an elevator. That was very surprising. So if you are with boogie or are on a wheelchair forget about it.
They offer cruises but you can get cheaper prices on the street for the same boats.. this was very disappointing.
So, overall very nice staff, you can see they care about you and you can get a nice sleep but everything else is a bit disappointing. I would choose something else next time.

Positive points: The location of the hotel close to train street was the best! Because the train runs on sporadic schedules, it was best to stay close to this tourist attraction. Walking around Hoan Kiem Lake was doable as well from this hotel for 2 adults, but with little kids it would be a bit difficult because they were terrified of traffic. The hotel's room was spacious and the balcony provided much needed fresh air! Ms. Huynh was also an exceptional host, she provided tips on walking around the lake and other tips for many attractions.

There is a crepe lady down the street that you can't miss! It was phenomenal! We wished we could stayed longer

Positive points: Convenient location in old quarter with a cute vintage gift shop opposite the hotel. Bed was very soft unlike those hard mattresses in other places. The place offered snacks which we loved so much we bought 3 packets home. You can access netflix (own account) on the tv too. Overall great stay
