G8 Center Hotel Saigon

Review: Everything you would need in a hotel, good quality for the money spent, close to everything you’d want to see while in Ho Chi Minh.

Positive points: Location is close to shopping, restaurants, etc.
Breakfast buffet offers plentiful and diverse items from Pho, eggs, noodles, sausages, bacon, salads, cheese to yogurt, cakes and fruit.
Staff is helpful.

Review: Enjoyed two nights’ stay here with family. The rooms were comfortable and the living room was spacious and conducive for families to hang out. There was cable TV with English movie and news channels. Bonus was having two toilets and a kitchenette equipped with crockery and cutlery for ordering / eating Grab food.

The breakfast spread was decent and there is a live station for eggs and soup noodles. They changed up the menu for hot dishes on both days we stayed here and we liked the homemade yogurt.

Did not use the gym but it looked well equipped and clean. There are washing machines onsite as well for those considering a longer stay. The staff spoke basic English well and were friendly and helpful.

We came right smack during the Tet holiday season so many eateries along the street where the hotel we were unfortunately closed. However, there is a nice beef pho place and convenience stores (Circle K / Family Mart) located 5 minutes away on foot. The War Remnants Museum is a comfortable 10 to 15 minutes’ walk and you can get to District 1 spots like Independence Palace / Ben Thanh market within 10 minutes by car.

Would consider staying here again especially if traveling with family or a group.

Staff were extremely helpful, friendly, attentive and professional- a truly great hotel in a good location for touring Saigon - plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance - would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Saigon.

I would recommend to anyone and everyone visiting Vietnam to book this hotel. They provide unlimited water refill, free self laundry, delicious complimentary breakfast and a spa massage at a very reasonable price as well. I can go on and on about this hotel. Even noticed that there are actually no negative reviews about it, speaks volumes. Please give it a try and you will never regret having stayed here.

Positive points: The hotel was great value for money. The room was spacious, clean, the hotel well located (close to the tourist center, but without the hustle and bustle) and the breakfast had plenty of options (mainly oriental).

Review: Our second stay at the hotel. Clean and spacious family room, with two rooms and two bathrooms, mini kitchen and lounge. Excellent breakfast buffet. Area in general around the hotel is clean and very little noise. Staff are accommodating. Easy access to other areas either on foot or using Grab.

Review: It was our first time in an apartment hotel, and we really liked it!

Great location, a short walk away from the nearby Tan Dinh market, and zone 1. The overall atmosphere was relaxed, and the reception staff and chefs were friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The apartment itself was spacious and clean.

We were able to wash our clothes with the complimentary service too.

We really enjoyed our stay, thank you. Highly recommended.

Positive points: In a quiet place but not very far away from the city centre. The restaurant for breakfast is spacious, well decorated and very nice. We booked two bedrooms apartment for three adults. It's very spacious, modern and clean. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The breakfast is a buffet type, can't say splendid but good enough for this relatively affordable room price.
