Review: Great Resort location, friendly staffs , good breakfast buffet. I come back every year 😃
Positive points: The hotel was so nice, it felt like a very luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle
Negative points: The only issue we had was it was quite noisy in the early mornings. The rooms are very sound proof and unfortunately there was a lot of building works on the street.
Review: This time I find resort has changed owner. You need to reserve 2 hours in advance for shuttle bus to An Bang beach. Check the pick up and drop off time at The Deck House An Bang. The location is ideal just 10 minutes walk to Lune Production Theater which run The Teh Dar show - a must see Bamboo Circus Performance.
Positive points: Beautiful view of river. Quiet street yet short walk to the shops and restaurants. Large room and bathroom. Clean. Great staff who spoke good English.
Negative points: Room had very little sound proofing. Woken up early in the morning by passing boats. Could hear people above us walking and moving chairs. Could not sleep past 8 am because we could hear construction next door. If you are jet lagged and need to sleep, this is not the hotel for you.
Review: My third time stay here but some drawbacks: my river view room had mold smell. No more free snack market in the afternoon inside resort and no more free river boat ride. However, still the location is close to center. I love the resort decoration at the welcome gate during Lunar New year holiday.

the location is great. You are right in the heart of old town and lots to do within a short walk. Right across the street are laundry services (much cheaper than at the hotel) and scooter rentals if one wants. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful.
The facility is getting a little tired and although they say they have a gym, most of the equipment is old and broken. I will say however that the bed was one of the best I slept in while in Vietnam.
Lots of choices for breakfast but quality of much of it is just ok. Not terrible but nothing to get excited about.
I stayed in the room facing the river. I was large and comfortable but the river isn't much of a view. I think I would chose the rooms facing the pool instead. Less money and better view.
I wasn't disappointed with my stay, but I would probably try something different if in the area again.
Positive points: The location is very close to the old town and the breakfast choices were great

Negative points: Getting woken up at 7am by the building next door every morning. And the all day noise from the building site was not informed of this at check in also being over charged for laundry!!

Positive points: Excellent location on the river and a couple of minutes walk into the town. Breakfast was varied and good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Negative points: Noisy building work on both sides when we stayed- not the resort's fault but it did impact our stay.
Review: Location was excellent. Clean spacious rooms. Nothing fancy. The setting is beautiful and pool lovely. Staff so lovely and friendly. Breakfast nice and happy hour from 12pm to 6pm 2 for 1!!
Positive points:
Location was very close to Ancient Town. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staff were wonderful and did everything to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.
Very nice buffet indoor/outdoor eating area. Pool area is beautiful.
Negative points:
Not the fault of the hotel, but be aware there is construction next door. Asked to move to the other side of the property for a quiter stay, which they were able to accommodate.
Hotel room seems a little dated. TV on the older side, lighting in room could have been better.

Positive points:
The location to Old Town was excellent , a mere 6 minutes or so walking , the breakfast and views are awesome , one of the better properties .
Great value for money .
Negative points:
There was construction taking place next door which was quite frustrating ( no fault of the hotel ) ,
The hotel is tired and management has not done anything about the upkeep , the spa advertises its services but to be frank the spas on the road are better value for money and much more professional in conducting their services .
NB : Its not the staffs fault but management .
- The radio had a speaker that was burst and was most disturbing during the treatment so much so I had to ask the therapist to put off .
- The service was good but I believe the spa is not up to standards , perhaps you should experience one of the outside establishments to be able to judge your service .
