Diamond Westlake Suites

Review: Our stay at Diamond Westlake was perfect for our family. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, and the staff were extremely helpful. We had to call reception for someone to help with our AC, and there was an engineer up to us within 5 minutes. We got room service twice, the food was great and delivered quickly. The pool area was excellent, and towels are available to guests. My daughter enjoyed the playground, and we used the supermarket on site which had all the essentials. There were lots of facilities we didn’t get to avail of, we would definitely return to Diamond Westlake on our next visit!

Review: Great hotel except the hot water comes out boiling hot and it could be very dangerous it's very hard to moderate the water. Great breakfast and pool.

Positive points: Great value for money, little bit of an aging resort but offers all the same as new options. Free bikes were a big plus and allowed us to really enjoy the west lake area.

Review: Located on the quiet side of the lake, the compound is very old but well maintained. A big minus for the very old bed with too old / soft mattress, not suitable if you plan to stay more than 1 night. A plus for the breakfast restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake in the morning. Another plus is for a good alacarte menu and an excellent night shift chef. Ah, sockets are Singaporean style, if you don't have an adapter for that..

Review: Location worst, staff friendly. Calling grabs made me call every time as I couldn't find a place. The front staff was so friendly that they called a taxi for us and talked on behalf of us. But we had to pay a cancellation fee and spent over 5 minutes looking for food. Not really except for the staff. Room is very big and has many beds and lots of sofas, but it's very hard to find my own room between buildings. Hard to find because of the difficulty. Maybe suitable for a month? But not so much for travel

Positive points: It was tucked away from the busyness of Hanoi. They also had a scheduled free shuttle which is great if you want to go to the shopping district or Old Quarter.nStaff was exceptional.
