Positive points: We were so glad we chose to stay here. The house and the room were beautiful with a lovely view over the river. Such a peaceful place to sleep being woken up by the birds singing in the morning. Our hosts were so lovely and welcoming and organised very good value taxi rides to and from Da Nang airport/train station for us - cheaper than grab.

There are bikes to use and it’s a short 15 minute walk to the old town. The location was perfect.

Positive points: From beginning to end, this trip was fantastic.! Anna was amazing, such a great host, and she organised everything we needed help with. We felt at home. Such a fantastic, friendly family. We really also adored their rescue kitten Mickey, who they'd hand reared as a baby, he's super cute.

Positive points: Owners absolutely brilliant, from arrival to departure.

Positive points: The location was excellent. A 15-20 minute walk to the old town, so away from the noise but still close enough to just go there for a nice stroll. The Hoi An Memorys show is a 5-10 minutes walk away and an absolute must do if you enjoy musical type shows. The homestay itself is at the river and the rooms have an excellent view with the possibility to see the sunset.

The breakfast varies depending on what you like/can eat but in general it can be discussed with Huon. Some local specialities were also breakfast options.

The homestay is extremely clean and has a nice large bathroom (dormitory) in which the shower and toilet are separated.

Huon and Hai also speak an excellent english, ensuring a smooth communication.
Due to that they were able to give great advices and were generally very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Positive points: Very cosy homestay, away from the busy Hoi An center but accessible easily by bike and by the river.

Positive points: One of the best hostels I have ever been to in Vietnam. Not only a hostel but also a homestay! Everything was amazing during my stay. Huong and her husband are lovely people, always ready to help you. The house is located in front of the water, a very calm and chill place to have breakfast in the morning. The room and bathrooms are very clean, the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and filling.
Rent of bikes and motorbikes for a very affordable price.
Plenty of restaurants around to get dinner. Good area to stay to avoid the crowd of the city center. You just need to book here, that's the best option :D.

Review: I cannot recommend Calm House 2 enough. You really are getting the full blown home experience here, and it’s all thanks to Huong and Hai (spelling?) for the wonderful job they do as hosts. They became more like my friends/cool parents, and made sure I had everything I needed from tour info to delicious breakfasts to make my stay in Hoi An amazing. Just lovely people, a great location…you cannot go wrong.

Positive points: Everything about our stay was just perfect. We went as a group, the owners were very kind and accommodative. The rooms were spacious, clean and hygienic. The house is place in a beautiful location. We can rent bikes and bicycles from the place of stay. We opted for breakfast, the food provided was top notch. We had a great time staying here.

If you're in Hoi An and looking for a clam and relaxing place to stay, this is it you've found the best out of the lots.

Review: Love this place so much. The lady owner so helpful. Appreciate her helped me bought bus ticket from Hoi An to Hue, and train ticket from Hue to Da Nang. Free bikes to town if for a short time. When I checked out, she gave me few delicious dumplings. Sure will come back again. Highly recommended 👍

Positive points: Beautiful house, both of the owners were super friendly, good english speakers and genuinely kind! Loved staying at their place, I had the best beef noodles ever for breakfast, it's quiet, super clean and the space is very enjoyable. Highly recommand =) Great location as well ! Great recommandations for visits and stuff, also they let me leave my bags for the day even tho I had already checked out, much appreciated !

Review: The hostel itself was really nice being directly on the river but what made my experience even better were the owners: a married couple that was super kind to me and gave me tips on how to move in the city, what to see, and how to make the best of my time since I also had to travel in the south of the country. The lady would wake up early in the morning to cook me breakfast! 🥹 would definitely recommend!

Review: Highly recommend this place. Most friendly, welcoming, helpful couple I met. From local food, activities to do, etc. Good wifi. Quiet and safe place by the river. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Review: Amazing homestay-type set up, fantastic large room with lovely river views from the balcony. Hosts were amazing, the most friendly and helpful people I've met so far in Vietnam, maybe all of Asia in my trip to date. Felt like staying with good friends from the moment I arrived. Omelette and coffee in the mornings were brilliant. Very relaxed setting, not many guests but it made for a nice quiet vibe, definitely one for mature travellers.

Review: Even hostel location is 1.3km from Old Town Hoi An, off the main road, the ambience of hostel will be in my memories for life. Beside the river, no noise, river breeze, doing nothing, enjoying 180 degree landscape view. The owner is accommodating on change of date due to flight reschedule.
