Review: Got an early check in for free. Wanted to walk to the shopping malls but it was raining so took grab instead. Other than that, it’s clean and safe.
Positive points: - Hotel located in Jalan Sabang which has lots of food tents at night, if you wanna try local food this is the place for you. n- Strategic location between Grand Indonesia shopping mall and Monumen Nasional. n- In walking distance to Sarinah BRT bus stopn- Lots of store nearby (pharmacy, fast food, coffee shop, money changer, grocery)

Positive points: This was the perfect hotel for our first trip to Jakarta. The location was great- close to the bus stop, many malls and walking distance to Monas and even the train station. The attention to detail was impressive. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The breakfast buffet had many options and they always seemed to be refilling it. I appreciated the ability to do laundry and they even had free soap. The gym had two treadmills, weights and a few yoga mats. The staff were so kind!
Negative points: I wish there were some small towels in the gym to use instead of having to bring the ones from the room down.

Positive points: Loved the Shanghai interior design and style across the whole hotel. Great location and very good Chinese restaurant. Staff were very helpful.
Negative points: Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and various hot dishes. The bread and yogurt options could be better, and the coffee could be better also - but overall, nothing to complain about.
Review: Ashley Tang Hotel is ideally located within 15 minutes walking distance to the Istiqlal Masjid, Jakarta Cathederal and Mona Monument. Directly outside the hotel, there is a super street food market that pops up each evening. The Hotel and staf were supberb, we arrived early and were offered a drink and ealy check in. Our departure was late, the staff, were really helpful and took care of our luggage and gave access to restrooms. The room was small but very clean and pleasent. The breakfast was good but not a wide variety.
Positive points: Real nice breakfast buffet.
Negative points: This quickly became an unpleasant part of our stay: throughout the ground level, especially in the restaurant, the hotel makes use of a SINGLE song that repeats every 2 to 3 minutes!!! As in hundreds of times a day. I feel bad for staff. It became a form of mental torture. It's so bad that I would never stay at this hotel again. Surely it's a simple matter to come with a sound track that contains some degree of variety? We experienced the same thing at the Jakarta airport (different tune [thankfully] but still mind-numbing.
Review: The triple room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for three people. Great value for the price – definitely worth it!
Positive points: Good location for walking to numerous places of interest in central Jakarta. nBreakfast was awesome!!
Negative points: Rooms are very small. Only a stool to sit on in room.
