Uyen's House

Review: The room was super lovely. Mrs Uyen was really helpful and friendly so I would definitely recommend to book there.

Positive points: It is my third time at Uyen’s house in one year, the owner is always smiling and she takes care of every details for the best stay. The garden is beautiful and invites you to relax each time you come back from hicking or swimming in the Island.

The breakfast are delicious and made with love.

It is more than affordable if you look at all the efforts they put to make your trip perfect.

Review: Great place right in the heart of Con Dao, super friendly and helpful kept extending our stay, Thu was a great host.

Positive points: Excellent place, clean, close to many activities (restaurants, market, historical sites, seaside). Very friendly and helpful staff. You can also ask for breakfast, coffees and beers . Good equipment (a/c working and silent)

Positive points: What a wonderful 5 days we have just spent at Uyen’s house! Everything was lovely…the rooms were big and comfortable, spotlessly clean and with excellent air-conditioning. It was decorated with a real sense of style, very “shabby chic”. The bathroom was basic but clean and functional. The location, right near the centre of town and opposite a park, was perfect for walking everywhere. The garden was beautiful and the breakfasts were the best we have had so far this trip. Uyen was generous with her help and time, and there were many little extras that made us feel at home. We loved it, and would come back to beautiful Con Dao in a heartbeat.

Review: I came to Con Dao to dive, and unfortunately the weather was not helping so I ended up not diving. Nonetheless I had a lovely time in Con Dao thanks to Uyen's House. The staff are really helpful and sweet. Taxi from airport to the guesthouse costs 280K-300K whereas the shared car ride suggested by the staff is only 50K. The staff also helped with renting the motorcycle - which was much needed during the stay, despite excellent location. Willing to visit again!

Positive points: The team were lovely and the location was good and the gardens/plants in the foyer were really lovely. I stopped and read my book their and the team offered my delicious fresh fruit while we hung out, it was very relaxing.

Review: Everything was easy. Lovely host. Yummy mangoes on arrival. The bed is a bit hard and so are the pillows but other than that..all is good!

Positive points: The property was lovely, room was clean and cool. Met with a lovely smoothie on arrival. Had breakfast a few times at Uyen’s and everything was delicious.

Review: Uyen’s house is a fantastic place to stay on Côn Ðảo. I could not imagine a better host than Thư, who is extremely kind and inviting, arranged a motorbike as well as gave me tips of the best spots to visit on the island and makes excellent coffee and breakfast. She is the best. They literally go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This an excellent place to stay with the best staff you can imagine. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting them again!

Review: My friends and I mainly go to the beach, so we choose a comfortable and affordable place to stay and experience. Thư, the owner, helped me book a pick-up service from the airport, and she had a car available for rent. Her pizza chef is also amazing. The room is tidy, beautiful, and convenient.

Positive points: Beautiful accommodation that has been created with genuine love and passion by the owner. Very comfortable beds and perfect facilities.

Review: I stayed in both the dorm and private, both were good value -- upcycled chic.

The lady (I can't remember her name) was super kind and helpful, sometimes bringing me fruit and coffee without charge. They can help organise scooters/trips etc

Her coffees were fantastic! The communal tables and garden were chill and I could work comfortably. I would have stayed longer if I were able to.

Con Dao was quiet at this time, with minimal foreigners but possibly a lot of the time. The island is best explored with scooter. It's the kind of place were kids still happily wave 'hello' at you.

Positive points: Uyen was so helpful, she helped me booking transfer from the airport to her place. She was answering fast and made me comfortable at her place. The room was spacious and in the middle of the city.
