Tuan Chau Resort Ha Long

Review: Near Halong Bay Port to go to the Halong Bay Day tour! Looks like the accommodation is still being renovated from the typhoon, but worth the price! Very hearty breakfast. Accommodation very close to the beach. There is buggy that can take you from the lobby to the accommodation, and to near restaurant at night!

Positive points: The room is spacious

The staff are friendly

They offer ala carte buffet breakfast where you can order unlimited food as much as you can take.

Review: Hotel offered poor services, while whole stay.

Positive points: Nothing

Review: The staff is very enthusiastic, from the receptionist (who video-called me to guide me to the hotel), to the security guard (who even took a motorbike to lead our group’s vehicle to the new check-in area). The view by the beach is very beautiful, the photos don’t need any color adjustment at all.

Positive points: A beautiful beach and very quiet location. You can walk to Marina and take a speed boat to Cat Ba island, the Kong Park with dolphins and evening shows is next door. The pool is super clean and has a nice view, the beach has a scenery of the nearby islands. Next time we will definitely take the upgraded rooms close to the beach and pool.

Review: Resort is set in the most beautiful setting on the island but is still recovering from the typhoon 2 months ago. (The whole Island is). Lots of renovations and construction of a swimming pool happening. Has so much potential once up and running properly again.

Positive points: Beautiful location, i like nice beach and friendly staff. Loved the room because it has new facilities and very clean ~~

Review: Obviously there is some issues following the storm but beautiful spot to spend a couple of days relaxing

Review: 1) Checkin and the door lock broke down. Waited for 20 mins for the technician to resolve.
2) TV and Hotel phone broke down.
3) Room smell bad, odour from the toilet.
4) Staffs from hotel other than the recept n counter are Bad.
The staffs at the swimming pool shouting at guests to get their shower before entering the pool, after guests returned from the beach.
5) When I stop my car at the hotel entrance waiting for checkout. Instead of asking politely to move the car from the entrance, since the road was narrow, the driver from the hotel honked continuous and gave an attitude.
6) Breakfast buffet was Bad.

Positive points: Loved the location and the pool .and delicious food.

Review: The room is very new and completely separate from the surrounding area, I feel healed when I am here. I highly recommend everyone to come here when you want to escape from the noise of the city :))

Review: The room is beautiful, clean, and airy. The breakfast is delicious, especially the beef pho. The staff are all very nice and enthusiastic.

Positive points: Tuan Chau is much better than mainland Ha Long with a much better vibe.

The rooms were clean, there was a great air con, the beach side villa rooms had a view of the archipelago through the palm trees, dinner was reasonably priced for a resort, poolside towel provision, porter service, lovely stroll along the beach with beach bars with a great vibe. Breakfast had decent options with a chef to make omelettes.

We were able to check in early even though we didn’t prearrange with no fuss at all. Friendly staff.

Hotel has private beach out the front with sun beds under shade and looks like they clean the rubbish away too (further along the beach there is much more rubbish which is very sad)

Review: In general, the resort is big and landscape is good but the resort itself is going down. Not much maintenance.

Positive points: Rooms are vast. Beach is beautiful and lake-like, good for swimming and safe for children and the elderly

Positive points: Near the beach and very calm, big hotel, big garden and sewimm pool.
I would love to stay here.
