Review:
The area is around 20mins walk to the beach and it’s no big deal because you’ll see different stablishments around the corner. For it’s price I can say that this is one of the cheapest hostel I’ve stayed. Tai, Neda, Kieu also their volunteer Jonathan is really accomodating and helpful.
Will definetly book here again.

Review: Hostel is ok, good activities offered. No lamp in dorms and staff reminded you multiple times a day, felt very forced. The volunteers were lovely and made long term friends some of them. Laundry took over 24 hours which isn’t ideal either
Positive points: The beds are super comfortable and they give you a clean towel each day. The rooftop area was nice and the staff was fantastic! Everyday they have some activities and after that there is a free ride to the dragon bridge night market and/or the bar area! the staff Neda, Tu, Nhi, Kieu and Tai were all sooo lovely, friendly, and super helpful!
Negative points: The location is not great and there aren’t many food places or marts nearby but the neighborhood has a nice local feel to it so it’s not too bad. Just know that you will be needing to book Grabs to get to places.

Review: Very good hotel
Positive points: The front office staff were all very friendly, answered any question you had, and would happily arrange tours, laundry, transfers, etc. Shout out to Tai, Kien, and Tu! You can join what's app group and be kept updated on daily events, which included daily happy hours, quiz nights, game nights, karaoke, free shuttle to dragon bridge shows at weekend, night market hook ups and social bar events. Neda was an exceptional manager for the hostel and nearby hotel. She kept everyine updated maby times during the day on social events and mingled with guests for social gatherings. Guests at the hotel could visit the bar and lounge area at the hotel and play pool. The use of free bikes was great to explore city. Only 10 minutes walk from Bai Tam beach then walk up to My Khe beach. It's definitely a great place to be social and meet many travellers.
Negative points: Surprised to see there was no hot/cold water refill station for guests, having this in a hostel really adds value to the stay. At hostels that have this, I normally buy 3 in 1 coffee sachets and use hot water facility to make coffee whenever I want. The roof area closed at 11pm and after that, there was no area to sit and smoke other than standing outside entrance. My 6-bed female dorm was OK. The bed was large with a very comfy bed, duvet, and a socket by bed, but sadly, there was no light. Large locker under bunk with key.

Positive points:
The staff and volunteers are super friendly with massive smiles all the time. We dropped off our bags early with no fuss.
The Backpacker Hotel (not the hostel) is basically brand new.
Rooms were clean and in working order as you'd expect for something so new.
The Hostel had lots of events and tours to book, free shuttles, free bike hire etc.
Negative points:
There were 3 of us, we booked 1 double room and 1 mixed dorm. When we arrived they told us they overbooked our double room, but they had room in their brand new hotel, 2 small blocks away. It was mildly inconvenient to try and communicate with our friend in the dorm, now in a completely separate building.
We witnessed this happen to at least 2 other couples during our stay.
I think if they were proactive and messaged ahead of time, asking to rebook the Hotel instead or just give us a heads up that the room would be separated in a different hotel would be nice.
The New Hotel is very nice, but just has some little things, the toilet/bathroom in the room has opening to the hallway for ventilation but, the shower curtain is slightly to short in length and width, which means the entire floor gets wet and either the toilet or sink, the pillows were way to big and fluffy, a lamp would be nice for a little light that isn't all the roof lights at once and the provided blanket/douna was abit small for the bed size, 1 size up would be more suitable.
Other than my Nitiest of Nit picks, it was great, the staff are the most friendly, and would love to chat if you wanted to. :)

Review: Nice hostel for short stay, the room was comfortable, the hostel provide tour, the people staying there was so nice, clean pool, they have free breakfast and they have cheap spa. Free bike for everyone and shuttle, i enjoyed my stay and met amazing people! 🩷
Positive points: I stayed at a fantastic hostel with a very social and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. The location was perfect, close to the city center and everything I needed. They also offered various activities for those who wanted to join. Everything was just perfect!
