Thanh Lan 1 Hotel Danang

Positive points: The lady on the reception when I arrived on 18th Jan was so nice and kind. The hotel let me check in 5 hours before check in time. One night I arrived back to the hotel after midnight so the garage was closed so had to park my moped on the street outside and it's against the law but I didn't know what else to do, when I got up in the morning to go and put it in the hotel garage the parking attendant from the hotel had already done this so he saved me getting a ticket or even worse...my bike being impounded. The lift is very quick, rooms are basic but clean. They have a fridge and hairdryer plus shampoo. A big bonus for me was the bath with plenty of hot water.
I liked that I could smoke in the room but the room didn't smell of smoke at all. The fridge got very cold which is good and the air-conditioning worked a treat. The hotel is right next to da nang bus stop so that's very convenient. It was handy to hire a moped to explore the city as the roads aren't that busy like the major city's so I felt quite safe. Hotel is less than 10 mins from airport and only a few kilometres from the busiest part of town.

Positive points: Decided to stay in a lovely hotel to see the river and this one is the best choice. My room is absolutely opposite the Han River. Short distance from city center. Easily to catch a taxi or grab
