Review: A guesthouse located right near the walking street, affordable prices, the owners are very enthusiastic and friendly, and the rooms are clean.
Positive points: Good all round, except...
Negative points: ... hot water switch kept on tripping out, so no possibility of a warm shower 😟

Negative points: Located directly on the street so it is quite noisy. So don't forget your Oropax.
Review: The hotel is very clean and airy, the room rates are very reasonable, and the two owners are charming and enthusiastic. You should definitely book here everyone, the hotel is close to the old town, just a few hundred meters walk to get there. If there's a next time, I will definitely book here again, I stayed here for 2 consecutive nights.

Positive points: The room was super spacious, with a fantastic view of the mountains. Everything was squeaky clean, and I enjoyed the hot shower with excellent water pressure the most - you don't typically find this in cheap places to stay around Asia! Also, the staff was super friendly, and the location is fantastic since you can walk 5 minutes and arrive on the street with all the bars, restaurants, and the local market.
Negative points: Literally nothing.

Positive points: Nice owners. Cheap price. Quite spacious room and quite clean. Very good shower with hot water. Free bottled water and toiletries. Fine for a one night stay on the loop.
Negative points: We checked out planning to go further on the loop, but spent too much time in the neighborhood and booked for another night. They accidentally gave us the same room and we noticed that they didn't change the bedding, just turned over to the other side, it was very obvious because of the big old stains.
Review: There's nothing to criticize at all. The room is luxurious and nice, very close to the old town, so it's very convenient to get around. The owner is really enthusiastic and kind on the night we stayed in Mèo Vạc, he even helped us ship our suitcase to the Mèo Vạc hotel, making it easy for us to enjoy our time. I highly recommend everyone to come here!

Review: Seeing the good votes on Agoda, I decided to give it a try. I didn't expect to be so satisfied beyond my imagination. The room was very new, extremely clean, and well-equipped. It's close to the old town, within walking distance. The owners are extremely enthusiastic. If I have the chance to go to Dong Van, I will definitely come back.
Positive points: Nice place in Dong Van.
Negative points: We had a room long the street and the roomwas very noisy. I was awaken at 5am with the loudspeakers in front of the hotel which started working.
Review: The location is excellent just right on the Main Street. The motel is kind of family operated hostel but the room maintains well and clean. Highly recommended.

Review: Our room was large and clean. Staff friendly. Generic hotel but fine for one night stop on loop in town as alternative to countryside homestay. Good Italian restaurant a few doors away. Turn left after exiting hotel.
