The hotel offers excellent value for money with a central location perfect for exploring. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the stay comfortable. The rooms are well-maintained and provide a good night's sleep.
Additionally, the shopping options nearby are convenient for guests.
Positive points: Working heater, hot shower avaliable. Close to market. Nice place compared to other options on location.
Negative points: Blinking hotel neon was right behind our window.

Positive points: The owner is friendly and willing to share with us the tasty restaurant and also other questions. It is easy to have a amazing experience at Dong Van with Huy Hoang

Review: Staff and room were great. Really close to the main part of town. Everything you need is close. Great local food is a few minutes walk away.
Positive points: Our sole reason for going to Dong Van was to visit the ethnic Sunday market. That was an amazing experience. I chose this hotel because it was literally a one minute walk to the market.
Negative points: The beds are the hardest we have ever experienced, worst than the hardest beds in Laos. Truly a very uncomfortable experience.
Review: Comfortable and efficient staff. Sufficient hot water and beautiful window view. Will come back if given the chance.
Positive points: Friendly hosts, clean rooms and a great location.
Negative points: Hardest beds on Ha Giang loop. Lots of noise from 5am onwards with people getting wearing inexplicably noisy shoes in room above. Music also played loudly from 6am.

Review: Rooms were clean and well equipped. The AC has a heat mode which was well received during a cold spell. Note that not all rooms have windows, we booked 2 queen rooms and got 1x with window and 1x without.
Positive points: Clean room, convenient for 1 night stop, but keep in mind the hard matrass in case it is critical for you

Review: Looking for a hotel in the center of Dong Van, our group accidentally chose Huy Hoang hotel because of its very reasonable price. The truth is that we stayed for 2 nights here beyond our expectations. We stayed in 3 rooms, each room has a 2-way air conditioner (heating mode), a dryer, and especially the hot water system operates stably and effectively. The young couple who are the owners are very friendly and caring towards guests. We will definitely come back here when we have the opportunity to visit Dong Van.

no breakfast (very unusual for Vietnam)
the door to the room was open before we arrived and the room was full of mosquitos as a result

Positive points: It was sufficient and clean.
Negative points: Unfortunately bed was very hard. So hard that I almost couldn't sleep. So for 1 night it's ok but definitely not for more nights.

Positive points: The bed and sheets were so comfortable. Yes it was a hard mattresses and that what I like. The owners were so helpful and just made my stay great. Plenty of places not far away to eat. Good hot shower.
Negative points: I was happy with everything.
