Sunshine Hotel Hoi An

Review: Rooms, premises and linen are pretty clean. Pleasant to stay.
But there was no Buffet breakfast, limited option ala carte only.

Positive points: Very good value for money. Lovely clean pool but cold and rainy during our stay so we did not use. Very helpful staff.

Review: Owner was very nice to gave us a free upgrade of room with balcony. Facilities were good. There was a a bath tub of adequate size and breakfast was also good although had less options.

Positive points: nice hotel and friendly and helpful staff, location was a little further out of the town than expected but in easy walking distance or minimal taxi ride. The pool was ideal and we made use of this facility most mornings. The provision of free bicycles to use was a nice surprise and with both beach and town within a 20 min cycle ride gave an added flexibility to the stay, the room was a comfortable size and had a good view over the pool.

Review: Our second time here, this time for 12 nights. We had a very comfortable stay. Lovely pool area, excellent breakfast and good wifi.
We ate often at Tin Tins Restaurant over the road and to the left of that is a little shop that makes the best salt coffees you will find. Recommended

Positive points: Excellent hotel with swimming pool , large comfortable room with bath and shower . Very efficient air conditioning ! Reception staff were helpful and very friendly ! Free bicycles

Review: We always stay at the sunshine hotel when we come to Hoi An. The staff are wonderful and welcoming, the rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, pool perfect for what we need. It’s away from the craziness of old town in the evenings when the buses arrive. Best part it’s across from our favourite restaurant’Tin Tins’ who could ask for more !!

Positive points: The hotel is situated in a quiet area of town, yet it's close to the old town and tourist attractions. You can easily walk to the old town from the hotel in about 15 minutes. The rooms are basic but provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of this hotel is the staff they are very polite and helpful.

Review: My wife and I have just spent 3 weeks at the Sunshine. It is one of our “go to” hotels each year when we holiday in Hoi An., being well priced and in a good location between the Old Town and beach. Both are a cheap Grab ride away, or can easily be reached using the hotels free bicycles - just make sure you pick a well maintained one, with functioning brakes. To walk to the old town takes about 15-20 mins. There are also some good restaurants in close proximity, as well as small convenience stores. Our Superior room was spacious, clean and well equipped, and had a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool itself is a really good size, clean, has plenty of lounges and umbrellas, and benefits from the afternoon shade. During our stay, occupancy levels were quite low and breakfast was understandably limited to a la carte on all but a couple of days. As we chose to have breakfasts at a nearby cafe this didn’t worry us.
The only minor negative was the electronic safe in the room wasn’t working properly and we had to use a key, which was a bit fiddly. We also experienced a similar problem last year.
Special thanks to Phuong, Yen and Chong at reception for making us feel so welcome once again. Hope to return next year.

Walking distance to Ancient town. Free use of bicycles. Chung at reception very helpful with booking private vehicle or taxi. Clean and comfortable.

Positive points: The staff were fabulous- couldn’t do enough for us- always so helpful, chatty and caring. The swimming pool was a treat after a hot day and the breakfasts were divine!

Review: The room seemed to have been remodeled beautifully, the staff was friendly, and there was a beautiful view from the fifth floor. I really liked the free use of the bikes, although one needed brake work. I saw one staff person drink from one of the welcome glasses, rinse it outside, then place it back for reuse without washing it. The room had a musty smell of an attic. My biggest problem was that there were no three prong outlets, so I was unable to use my computer or plug in my surge protector for safe computer use. My computer ran out of battery during my stay and I was unable to use it.

Positive points: This is a very nice hotel.Great location,easy access to restaurants, beach and Old Town.Would definitely stay here again.

Review: They have a beautiful swimming pool being a budget hotel. It's in the center we took a bicycle from them which was free and took a ride around the city. Also, there was an option to rent motor bikes.

Positive points: The hotel has everything you need! Lovely breakfast, pool, rooms and the staff were so lovely. They organised us a car to and from the airport which was really helpful. There are free bikes that you can use or they can help you rent a motorbike. Definitely recommend staying here!

Review: Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2024. The location is close to old town, 5 mins by car/bike, 25 mins on foot. They have a decent breakfast buffet, is peaceful and nice hosts.

Positive points: The staff were so friendly and did so much to help us have a wonderful stay. They catered to our every need and were so polite and prompt in answering any queries. We were offered help booking taxis, luggage storage and use of the facilities even on the day after checking out.

Review: Very well run hotel. It was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied and well dressed. Lots of fruit and cooked eggs. Good value, absolutely no complaints

Positive points: Large Room with balcony overlooking the pool. Free bicycles to ride beach or to Ancient Tourist Town. Many markets close by. Extremely filling breakfast with choice of different country foods. Many restaurants within few blocks of hotel, meals us$5-10. Free fast internet and TV with many channels. But the best was the staff, who constantly caring and asking how they could make my stay more pleasant.
