Ramada Hotel and Suites Namdaemun

Review: Nice place and quite. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a small kitchen . I wish if the checkout time can be changed to 12 PM instead of 11 am.

Positive points: The hotel is very dated. There was some rust and mold in the bathroom, and the hallway was depressing, and upon exiting the elevators had old mattresses and tables piled up on the side. nnThe only upside was the location and the staff who spoke good English and were polite and helpful.

Review: I booked this pretty last minute. Especially with the deal I got on Agoda, this was exceptionally great value for money given that this is right next to Seoul station!

Positive points: Accessible. Many options for dinner. Walking distance to Seoul Station. We got spacious room. Our room was cleaned everyday. Beds were comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Breakfast was sufficient in variety.

Review: It’s reasonable for the price and location. It’s still a fair distance from any major shopping areas/train station to walk. The whole hotel is a bit dated and old, bathrooms were not great/old with a complicated hot water system. No basic consumable supplies besides shampoo/conditioner/body soap/tissues- they advise to buy across the street at the convenient store. nnGood things included a large sized room, the included breakfast buffet was good, airport bus service at front for $18,000 KRW and good service. We stayed at another hotel a few days ago in Seoul in Myeongdong and I would probably stay there again in comparison at this price point.

Review: 호텔이 오래되어서 좋을것은 기대하지 않았습니다. 주말에 여행겸 위치보고 예약했습니다. 하지만, 호텔에서 날파리가 많은것을 본 것은 또 처음 경험해봅니다. 날파리 다 죽이고 잔다고 잠을 설쳤습니다. 주중 가격은 반값이던데 그 정도가 적당해 보입니다.

Positive points: I went to Seoul for short trip and want a place that combines convenience with comfort, this hotel is a stellar choice. Located just a stone's throw from Seoul Station, it offers easy access to transportation and a plethora of local attractions. Upon entering the hotel, I immediately notice the welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are impeccably clean and boast a delightful fragrance that makes for a refreshing arrival after a day of exploring the city. The layout of the room is particularly noteworthy—well-thought-out and stylish, maximizing both space and functionality. Furthermore, the room's design ensures a relaxing retreat after a busy day. For a blend of practicality and luxury, this hotel is hard to beat.

Review: My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. It could have been a perfect stay except for 1 occasion that I tried to call the front desk to make a breakfast reservation for the following day. the phone was busy for nearly an hour. When I went downstairs, I found the staff on duty was on the phone and I had to wait for another half hour . For him to get off the phone before I could make the reservation. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Review: Pretty good overall!

Positive points: Ramada was our savior the “last day” of our trip in Seoul. We lost/stolen our passport in Mygliore Hote in Myeongdong and their quality of services and rooms are not quite near of the Ramada. Here we find our calm place to stay in middle of the caos we were facing. They provide us with all the information we needed, near laundry to wash our clothe, near station to get ID photos and even prints and copies of our documents that we needed for the US Embassy diligences. We are very greatful with the staff, they speak a perfect English and were very kind (as almost all of the Korean we met). Very centric and clean place. We recommend 100%. If you can book directly with them, it will be better prices (booking app charge us double) and with them directly were more affordable. If you are thinking about it, don’t. Is very near to Seoul station (5 minutes walk) and like 20 minutes walk to Myeongdong.
