Review: I love this hotel, and try to stay here whenever I visit Seoul. Of course, I was very satisfied with the hotel this time as well.
Positive points: Property is very nice, great location & has a lot of amenities. Rooms are huge & include a kitchenette and in-unit washing machine. There is free breakfast, a gym, a pool & nice rooftop. Also a business center if need to work. Staff is very nice & helpful! Definitely would come back to stay next time I’m in Seoul! Feels like home

Review: I love the location of Somerset Palace and it gives a good value for the money. But my second stay this time after 2018 is somewhat disappointing as the facilities show signs of aging and room furniture need to be upgraded in certain rooms. Breakfast option, if it is incorporated into room charges, has a decent value. It is not a typical hotel in many aspects particularly as rooms are quipped with little kitchen/microwave oven/washer-dryer. I find this advantageous.

Review: The Somerset Palace Hotel is where I always stay when I visit Seoul. It has the facilities I need, the location is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I hope to stay there again soon.

Review: Was too noisy due to demonstrations going on throughout night for about 3-4 nights no fault of hotel though. Hotel is getting rather old needs upgrading or renovations. Convenient for providing breakfast & its location. Facilities like swimming pool or communal bath not open or available. As for recommendations, half way either way. Staffs were nice though. Need a wall clock & provide a bigger bins they were too tiny.
Positive points: The breakfast is very good. The staff is attentive and friendly. The location is perfect, perhaps the best in Seoul, close to several attractions, restaurants, markets and the subway.
Negative points: It is unbelievable that the air conditioning was not working and the explanation for this was that the weather in the city was cold and, therefore, the system as a whole was turned off! Well, the guest should be the one who decides whether or not to use the air conditioning! Besides, objectively, it was hot enough for the system to be working. The solution given to us was: if you are hot, open the windows!!

Positive points: Great breakfast and staff
Negative points: Even though there was an air-conditioning unit inside the room, they would not give us the remote for it because they said they were trying to clean it soon so the room was very warm. They said they typically don’t give the remote out until it gets much warmer later on in the year. I would recommend them not advertising air-conditioning if it isn’t offered year round.

Positive points: The staff were kind, polite, and very professional. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Somerset. I will stay there on my next visit.
Negative points: The buffet restaurant on the second floor is too small for the number of tables and guests it accommodates. However, the restaurant staff do an excellent job working with these limitations.
Review: It was the great place for family. However the breakfast menu was same for 7 days which was not very exciting. They could serve at least different fruits.
Positive points: Very good. A lot of choices and variety.
Negative points: There’s nothing that I did not like with the buffet.

Review: Overall stay is great. They gave us the best view and level for both of our stays. Staff are extremely helpful, excellent English communication, and fast enough to answer our requests. The only downside is our bathroom heater in room 1606 as it keeps on fluctuating temperature while in use
Positive points: Location is great. I liked the two bedroom was great size for our family.
Negative points: we had the first night with lots of noise from the street because of the protest. But the next night it was better as the hotel staff changed our room and the overnight protest and music stopped. nThe cleanliness was no5 what I would expect for the value of this hotel.
Positive points: There was a strong sewer like smell on the hallway, but nothing in our room.
