Review: On my first night, at around 2 a.m., a stranger tried to unlock and enter my room. Fortunately, I had secured the door with the chain lock before going to bed. The next day, the hotel staff explained that the incident occurred because they had mistakenly assigned the same room information to different guests. This serious mistake made me feel extremely unsafe and deeply disappointed with the management.
Review: Best location very near to the city center, easy access to bus stop & subway. The host was very friendly, room size was perfect based on the value for money. The facilities were complete. The location was hard to find at first because it was inside a market & among stores but after all price wise & location wise & it is newly renovated are perfect for staying 6 nights here
Review: Everything was great. But The place is really hard to find. Would have been helpful if they have a map that they can send to customers. Staff super friendly nice. Overall highly recommended
Negative points: There was no hot water after certain time
Positive points: easy to access and get in/out. Check-in was very logical and a great experience. The rooms was clean and large enough for the two of us!
Negative points: the bathroom was a bit tight, and it was a wet bathroom...so had to plan out our showering schedules more than in other hotels
Positive points: Room size met our expectations. The room was clean, modern, beds were comfortable, enough space to hang clothes, put suitcase.The kitchen downstairs was clean, there was a water fountain.
Negative points: There were only two sockets in the room in uncomfortable places. The exit light above the door was very bright and could bother light sleepers. The lady at the welcome desk was friendly, but during our 5 day stay we only saw staff twice. It seems to be common in Korea, but shower next to the sink in the same room as the toilet is extremely uncomfortable, especially with three people in the room. A wiper could be helpful.
Positive points: Location, location, location. Transportation to and from places was excellent.
Negative points: Carrying heavy luggages to top floor and down. Missing railings.
Positive points: Just renovated everything is brand new. great location, the bus stop in front of jongmyo is 3 mins walk and plenty of bus lines. Good value for budget travelers
Negative points: no ventilator in the bathroom a bit smell from the drain
Positive points: Pretty much what you expect. No surprises. Good value, good location, easy walk from nearby stations. Small room but I only used for sleeping so it met my expectations. There are appliances in the kitchen if you want to have meals on site.
Negative points: Nothing in particular, everything worked as expected. Walls are a little bit thin so noise from the outside can be heard. For example the doorlock beeps when typing the PIN, so I recommend bringing earplugs if you are too bothered by noise.
Positive points: 1) Located close to a popular bus stop and two train stations. There are a lot of food options nearby including convenience stores and buzzing night life. rnrn2) The place is newly done up so it is clean and comfortable. Hope they will continue to maintain it well.
Negative points: 1) The location is within an old commercial strip specializing in electrical goods, e.g. wires, cables etc. This means it is not along a typical guesthouse/commercial area. Once the shops close, it will be very quiet and dark but that's where it is.
