Positive points: Loved the properties, and the surroundings. The SPA and service was excellent and the pool area is divine. It's probably one of the most beautiful locations I've been to. Renting scooters during your visit is a must. All the personnel is amazing and wants you to have a great time.

Review: My wife and I both loved this place and hated to leave. The setting was beautiful, the staff, all of them, were amazing. The entire property was immaculately clean. I honestly have nothing even remotely bad I can say about Poulo Condor. I can't wait to return.

Review: Expensive but nice

Positive points: Poulo Condor Resort on Con Dao island masterfully balances luxury with authentic Vietnamese character. What immediately strikes you is the soul infused into every aspect of the property - this is far from a cookie-cutter resort experience.
The reception area sets the tone perfectly, featuring carefully curated traditional Asian artwork adorning white walls, complemented by elegant dark wood furniture and comfortable chairs with yellow accent cushions. The welcome ritual, complete with iced tea and native almonds, demonstrates the staff's commitment to hospitality from the moment you arrive.
The resort's crown jewel is undoubtedly its stunning infinity pool. Set against a dramatic backdrop of jungle-covered mountains, the multi-level pool design creates a serene oasis. The thoughtful layout includes comfortable seating areas and beautiful stone paving that perfectly complements the natural surroundings. Interestingly, the pool area maintains a warmer microclimate than the beach, making it an ideal retreat on breezy days.
Accommodations don't disappoint, with spacious, well-designed rooms. The evening tea service delivered directly to your room adds a particularly charming touch that exemplifies the resort's attention to detail.
The beach is a highlight - long and beautiful, offering unique opportunities for walks that can take you all the way to the airport fence for departures plane spotting. Speaking of the airport, despite being only 6 minutes away by car, its small ATR aircraft operations never disturb the resort's tranquility.
While the food quality is good, the menu could benefit from featuring more local Vietnamese cuisine alongside its Western offerings. This would better cater to adventurous travelers eager to explore regional flavors.
What truly sets Poulo Condor apart is how every element - from the decor to the service - reflects genuine care and thoughtfulness rather than corporate standardization.

Review: Perfect place to recharge batteries away from the crowds. Beautiful property well integrated within the natural landscape of Con Dao. The service was excellent. The weakest point is the staff that was often unable to communicate in English.

+ room service twice a day (if you like to)
+ free coffee, tea and of course water in your room everyday (you can make your own Vietnamese drip with sweetened milk 😊)

Review: Poulo Condor Boutique Resort and Spa has everything you need for a hideaway vacation. It's quite and relaxed, private beach, good restaurant with variety local food. The staff is awesomely friendly and helpful. It's impressive from the time I stepped out of airport and was picked up by the staff, till the time I left the resort.

Positive points: A very pleasant hotel in a wonderful location with everything you could want for a relaxing stay. We rarely stay somewhere for more than two days, but I had such a good time here that I didn't want to leave. Incredibly nice and helpful staff, especially the reception girls Vy and Nhuan were really helpful with everything. The hotel has a beautiful beach, an amazing pool, a restaurant, we also used massages, some of which we completed. The hotel lent us scooters to explore the island, provided transportation to and from the airport. Con Son (Con Dao) is a very calm and peaceful place, if I ever come back to Vietnam, I will definitely come here. Thank you ❤️

Review: Lovely resort with park like grounds. The beach is easy going, shallow, and warm. When you bore of the beach, hang out at the pool area. The staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant is good for Con Dao with Viet and Western options.

Many thanks to Quang, Dang, Thao and Nhuan for the hospitality. The senior staff used to work at Six Senses resort nearby and are now providing solid hospitality at Poulo Condor.

Review: Our stay was restful and relaxing despite the super hot weather. We felt the room could have been better maintained. However, the staff at the resort were amazing! They were very attentive and helpful. Giau and Dang at the front desk were always ready to help and give the best suggestions on how to spend our day. Giau always responded quickly when we texted him. He had quickly sent help when i sprained my ankle while trekking the national park. Dang gave us alot of information and details on the island. Breakfast spread was extensive. Kim Thoa and Thao at the restaurant were a delight! They remembered what were our usual likes for food and drinks. We were always greeted with a smile everywhere we went. Our appreciation to all the Poulo Condor staff!!

Positive points: Location is paradise, the resort itself is stunning, so green spacious and full of wildlife, the beach right on the resort is tranquil and not busy (basically totally empty) amazing coral in the sea for snorkelling. Pool area is a stunning view of the mountains. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Review: We stayed in an Indochina Villa with a private pool and loved our room.

The layout of the resort is fantastic. The villas are built so that the pool and patio area extend into the jungle as opposed to facing the resort pathway.

It makes the villa's private and secluded with a feeling of tranquility.

The staff are incredibly friendly, though they need to give attention to the small details to take Poulo Condor to the highest level.

I would 100% stay at Poulo Condor again.

Positive points: Poulo Condor Hotel was the highlight of our 3 week trip through Vietnam. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with access to a private beach. Nature has been allowed to thrive within the hotel complex whilst still maintaining a luxurious feel.
The staff are extremely hospitable, especially Nhuan from reception who went the extra mile to make our stay at Poulo a truly exceptional experience.
I highly recommended this hotel and will definitely be returning!
