Orchids Saigon Hotel

Review: The swimming pool is super small. The shower in the room is a problem, the shower is on a bath tube, and the water will stay on the side of the bath tube or run down from the side, make the bathroom very wet, and the hot water is not hot enough, and the front desk said because is heated by solar system, but I still think is not an excuse.
The hotel itself is very clean , and the location is very good too, hopefully they have an solution for the shower to make the hotel prefect

Positive points: Very nice staff who helped us to book tickets to the puppet show. The hotel was a nice size - no long waits for the elevator, no chaos at breakfast like some of the larger hotels. The location was ideal for walking to various sites.

Review: Orchids Saigon Hotel is conveniently located in District 1, not far from the Independence Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office, offering a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is included and provides a good variety of both western and eastern foods with a fresh eggs and noodle station. Offers a good price for the quality of the accommodation, recommended hotel choice.

Positive points: We used Orchids as our Ho Chi Minh base we stayed 3 times 4 nights in all over a 3 week period. The staff were great, very attentive and friendly, nice swimming pool.

Review: The hotel was fantastic overall, with an excellent location and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The only downside was the gym, which was too small and in need of an upgrade. Despite that, the overall experience was great, and I’d happily stay again!

Positive points: It was in a good walking location to many of the highlights in the city. The room was clean. Television offered channels in English. It was fun that they had a soft serve ice cream machine for after breakfast.

Review: This hotel is absolutely not worth the money. The staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. Despite requesting a high-floor room and even paying extra, I was given one of the worst rooms available. When I inquired, they claimed no other rooms were available. The staff at breakfast were also unfriendly and unhelpful. If I could, I would give this place zero stars.

Positive points: Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Location was great. Many great restaurants and markets close by. Laundry service was great and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
