Mixay Boutique Hotel Da Nang

Review: The hotel was close to the beach, there was a seafood restaurant right beside the hotel, and there were small groceries/convenience stores nearby.

The hotel staff was also nice and helpful! The rooms were clean too.

View was obstructed in our room (2nd flr), but not an issue considering all the things we liked about the hotel.

Review: Mixay Boutique has everything for travellers visiting Da Nang. The room layout in particular is convenient with access to power outlets and TV if you want to connect your own TV box. The staff are warm and friendly and the breakfast feels like home cooking. I've stayed here many times and will stay here many more. Do not hesitate to book a few nights here.

Positive points: Breakfast was good and the location was decent. Walkable distance to super market and restaurants.

Review: Had a very nice stay, we checked in late (around 1am) because are flight was delayed and it was a quick process. The room was beautiful and looked just like the photos. We enjoyed the tub and the balcony. There are cooking utensils and plates as well in our room. The heater and hairdryer all worked well, the bed was comfy and water heater and AC all worked also.

The breakfast had a lot of options, and they have an egg station.

Positive points: The suite room was good... Very clean... Good facilities and a balcony with partial beach view.
The staff is very understanding and customer friendly...

Review: Room was nothing to shout about. Most frustrating is the ridiculous volume of music and woman on the microphone, it does quieten down but wouldn’t spend time in the room until late late. It is common in Vietnam, but at a hotel for tourists you expect better.

Staff were all fantastic though, everything sorted quickly for an emergency stay when my apartment fell through and needed to organise another. It serves a purpose but I wouldn’t plan a holiday here. From the other point of view, showering with blaring Lak House outside the window is quite fun

Lots of problems at the hotel during my stay.

The gym is non functional - one piece of equipment that is rusted and broken. Not as advertised. Staff acknowledged this when I spoke to them but didn’t seem to care.

Venue next door playing music so loudly that the room was shaking. There is zero sound proofing in the hotel. I had to leave and stay in another hotel on my last night due to the noise.

There was a power outage one of the days, which in fairness wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

Laundry service was bad, my clothes smelled awful.

But with all these problems there was never any offer of compensation or a gesture to make up for it. This seems to be hotel policy.

The staff are friendly and nice. But it’s not worth staying here - plenty of hotels in the area with better amenities for the same price or less.
