Mango Home Riverside

Review: We arrived at 1:30 PM but only received our room at 2:40 PM, with no apology or explanation from the staff. Unfortunately, the room still had an unpleasant smell upon check-in. The breakfast buffet was quite limited and simple, and several facilities were under maintenance during our stay. Overall, the experience did not meet expectation.

Positive points: One of my favorite places in Vietnam. I really liked it here and honestly I don't understand why there are some negative reviews. The resort staff are very nice and extremely helpful. We also met the owners of the resort who live there and they are very hospitable. They helped us with advice. They organize different tours but no one forces you to go with them considering that there are many other options in the area. We had breakfast and dinner here and everything was very good. It is a very clean place where you can relax either by the pool or in the hammocks. There are many trees and plants and flowers in the resort and everything looks very well-kept. You can't even hear a motorbike. A real oasis of peace. The rooms are exactly like in the pictures and I really liked that the bathroom is with thatched roof. I think it gives the place an authenticity that you are in a tropical place. The only regret is that we didn't stay more nights.

Review: In beautiful surroundings , full of bird song and the smell of flowers . The staff are all so customer focused and each one an asset to the hotel . The only gripes are small attention to detail ones . Never anyone at the bar in the sunset lounge . Never any towels by the pool . Broken sunbeds not removed . Fruit not covered up at breakfast , so covered in insects . Shower wall needs proper cleaning , and the toilets by the pool are disgusting . If they took notice of all the little things it would be perfect .

Positive points: Nice and comfortable room/bed. Good AC. Nice pool. Lovely gardens. Very good infrastructure. Nice spots all around the property, including by the river, to relax in. Good hammocks and seating all around with shade.

Review: As a part of a 5-week Vietnam and Cambodia trip, we chose to have 4 days in the Delta. Two of those at Mango Home Riverside. We experienced a warm welcome and met the owners as well when we arrived. There are a number of tours to chose from, all of which looked interesting. We chose to do a 1-hour sunset tour the evening we arrived and then a half day tour the following morning. The sunset tour left a bit early so we had returned before the sun had actually set however the views of life on the waterway and enjoying a beer on the boat were appreciated. The second tour was fabulous with a boat trip, a visit to a coconut factory, cycling to brickworks with “beehive” ovens, another boat ride to where we adventured up a small waterway in a long-tail boat padded by two locals. It was a bit of an adventure as we struggled against the current but perseverance won out and we arrived at a local home to enjoy tea and coconut sweets. The guide spoke good English plus a little Mandarin (we were a mixed group) and went beyond his brief by jumping in to help guide the small boats up the river current. On to Tuk tuks to another local home to participate in baking rice paper then off to two different rice wine distilleries. 40-50% proof was enjoyed by all in a small shot glass! Back to the resort for an included lunch (the trip was great value) then the afternoon to enjoy the palm-fringed swimming pool and bar service. The staff try very hard to meet the guest needs and. although the meal and drink delivery is not perfectly co-ordinated, the food and drinks are of a good standard. The grounds of the resort are lush gardens with a beautiful lily pond, and the restaurant overlooks the river. There is also a bar area with some games (pool, table-top football etc). We would recommend Mango Home Riverside as a unique place from which to explore the Mekong Delta.

Positive points: Every detail taken care of for us, from transfer to comfortable and large room. Gracious hosts and wonderful, friendly staff.

Review: Anyone going to this region I highly recommend a riverside location yo be based and this resort is beautiful.

Review: We had a blast while staying here. The staffs were so nice, clean pool and tranquil atmosphere. Suitable for those who want to escape from the bustling of the urban :))) We had breakfast with the Ben Tre River view, chilled out at sunset lounge, watched the sky full of stars while taking night swim , and many more facilities to entertain. Such a good place to stay.

Positive points: Mango is great for our family. We used the bikes and rode around as a family- that was an awesome experience in itself. A way to discover Ben Tre at its true form. We took the Mekong boat tour ride after arrival - great way to checkout the area from the boat side and relax on the boat with drinks and snacks. The place was very relaxing with lots of things to do for kids. Pool table, hammock, basketball, foos ball table all in the resort. Air conditioning in the room was great. The pool was super clean (i have owned and swimmed many pool before but this one is the cleanest. Kids loved swimming there.

Review: The most beautiful stay we have had in the five months we have been in Vietnam. The staff are super helpful and professional, the growns are incredibly taken care of and clean, the pool is in a great location with lots of sunchairs, and the most peaceful and quiet we have experienced in Vietnam. Positive points: Mango Home Riverside is a true little oasis. It is definitely worth staying for a few nights to soak in the atmosphere and experience life along the Mekong River. ​What made our stay truly special was the staff—they are incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive. We also highly recommend the small-group excursions they offer

Positive points: Relaxed friendly and very clean throughout. Perfect for relaxing for a few days I. the Mekong Delta. used their free bikes to explore the area. staff were brilliant.
