Review: The host Linh is so understanding, he arranged bike for us and also told the good places we can visit nearby.

This is not alike other commercial hostel, it is more like a family run property.

Also provided free bicycle rental to market.

Positive points: We had a fantastic stay here at the Lazy Bear Hostel! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the hostel is really sweet. The banana pancakes for breakfast were so delicious (we miss them already!). Such a friendly and kind family, they gave us great tips on where to go. Highly recommend staying here for your time in Hoi An!

Positive points: This is by far my favorite hostel I have stayed at in my travels so far. The family who runs it is so friendly and sweet. They truly make it feel like a home. My room was so comfortable and really clean. The banana pancakes were the perfect start to every morning. And the fact you could use their bicycles made exploring Hoi An memorable and fun. I can't wait to come back and stay with them again.

Review: Peaceful and quiet. Between the beach and old town. If you want to be out of the noise and. action but still have it accessible this is a quiet and clean place

Dorm beds are single twins so without curtain. Eye mask and earplugs and I didn’t wake up from people coming and going in the night

Positive points: Relaxed family run hostel mid way between the old town and the beach. We had a double room with en-suite and balcony, perfect for our stay. The breakfast was good as well.

Review: I had an amazing time at Lazy Bear met wonderful people and all needs are met even exceeded. Never felt unsafe being here in this side of town as a solo female traveler. Definitely would recommend to my friends and family. If only I could stay longer I would. Thank you for your hospitality Linh and Family 🤗❤️

Positive points: I liked that the location was not far from the Old Town and that it had local stores and restaurants around the hostel. The private room was a comfortable size and had curtains that were able to blot out the sun during the day. Room was clean and extra towels and flip flops were provided to walk around the room and house. Laundry service was provided for 40K a kilo at the facility so this is a major convenience.

Review: This place was awesome!
Linh makes the best salted coffee I had during my time in Hoi an! Please do me a favor & request one for breakfast…speaking of breakfast, delicious! Especially the fried noodles.
As for our room, beds were super comfortable, AC worked wonderfully.
The only Con is the free bikes they offer aren’t in the best of condition so may want to rent elsewhere we had some problems but wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Positive points: The hostel is little bit out of town so its a quiet neighborhood and it makes it a great location for traveling to the beach and the city by bike (which you can lend for free)
The owners are the nicest people you will meet. They help you with everything you need! Just a great hostel when traveling to hoi an!

Review: The location wasn’t within walking distance from the old town, but they provided free bike and the ride-hailing service was quite cheap. The room was very spacious, so you don’t have to worry about your luggage (they only have stairs btw). Shower and toilet were clean. Sometimes the guests mingled but sometimes they didn’t. Good price though. If you booked a tour, the van would pick you up in the main street so you need to walk and wait in the street. Overall it was a nice and pleasant stay but I wish I stayed closer to the old town.

Positive points: Please give the Lazy Bear your business when you come to Hoi An! It is run by a lovely local family who were so sweet and had fantastic customer service. The facilities are great, and they offer free bike rentals! I think biking around is the best way to explore the Hoi An area, so it's a huge perk. There is also breakfast but I slept in too late to try it... The hosts offered recommendations for things to do and see in Hoi An, a map, and credible tailoring and tour services (although I did not have enough time to take advantage of either of those things). I stayed in the dorm, and the facilities were all comfortable. I love the adorable decor in the Lazy Bear as well! I would love to come back again the next time I visit Hoi An! It's such a shame I could only stay one night. Great value and great experience outright

Review: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home stay.

The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated, and the location is perfect - set in the countryside but walkable to the old town (or a short Grab ride).

Linh and his family were exceptional hosts and really went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Would highly recommend staying here.

Positive points: Highly recommend this hostel to those looking for a place to relax in Hoi An. The dorm is great with 2 ACs, fans, and a balcony, bathroom is excellent and clean. The family running the place are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful! They also have really good banana pancakes for breakfast! 5 min drive/40 min walk to old town or beach, or you can use bikes here for free too.

Review: The owners are very helpful and will give you lots of useful tips once you arrive. It is a bit out from the old town but they provide bikes that you can use to get there or to the beach. Breakfast is great and is included and is nice to have breakfast with the rest of the guests. I love all the macramae details throughout the private room and it was nice to just chill in my room on the balcony. A lovely place to stay!

Positive points: Very friendly, quiet hostel in between old town and the beach. Owners are really helpful with booking tours - I did the cooking class which was really interesting! Breakfast is good!

Review: The hostel is a bit far from the old town but close to many other fun places and convenient for going to the beach. Renting a cheap motorbike is cheaper than the average price. The host family is super kind and friendly. As a woman, I still feel safe and clean like at home. The breakfast food is suitable for my taste. I stayed there for almost a week, and even the neighbor's kid said "she's like a host" which shows how comfortable I was.

Positive points: One of my favourite hostels!! The host family were amazing, they helped us book tours and buses, and were super welcoming. The room was so clean, well decorated and had a very powerful AC. Breakfast was delicious- would highly recommend the banana pancake. The location was perfect, just a short ride to the beach or the old town on the free bikes.

Very nice room. Comfortable also for work. Nice breakfast. Free bicycles. Rice fields are nearby.

Minus:
A bit far from the center. Bicycles & locks are not well maintained. No free coffee, tea, water for use during the day.

Positive points: Chill atmosphere. Very nice family running the hostel with some good tips for restaurants. It's nice that the hostel is a little bit a way from the very touristy old town. Good banana pancakes :)
