Hotel Skypark Myeongdong I

Review: Had an amazing time here! Rooms were kept clean, superb location, staff were very approachable and accommodating, and there was also a simple breakfast and even a take out breakfast bag for those who aren't able to get breakfast in the morning. It was very thoughtful and we really appreciate it :) Will definitely stay here again!

Review: The hotel is at an excellent location, just a 2-3-minute walk from Myeongdong Station (Exit 6 for stairs or Exit 7 for escalator). It's right in the heart of the Myeongdong shopping district, with several restaurants, shops, and convenience stores nearby. Despite being in a bustling area, the rooms were surprisingly quiet with no disturbance from street noise.nnThe hotel is also well-connected for tourists, as Myeongdong Station serves as a pick-up/drop-off point for many group tours.nnOur room was compact but efficient - enough space for bed and luggage and comfortable for a family of three. The room walls were a bit thin, we we could hear sounds from outside occasionally.nnIn addition to the mineral water bottles provided, drinking water was available from water filter station. The bathroom was clean and functional, with good water pressure and basic amenities provided.nnBreakfast had a decent spread of Korean and continental options, and we appreciate the thoughtful take-away breakfast packs for guests leaving early in the morning.nnOverall, a great value-for-money option in a fantastic location for exploring Seoul.

Review: We had an amazing stay at Skypark Myeongdong 1! The location is unbeatable—right in the middle of the bustling Myeongdong shopping area, with easy access to the subway and tons of food options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the quiet atmosphere despite being in such a lively area. Mr. Yang Jae-Seok and Mr. Kwon Byeong-Guk are very friendly and approachable. They gave me tips on places to visit and must try foods! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Seoul—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Positive points: Our room was not super modern, but it was clean and cozy, and the hotel's location was great. We were provided with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The cleaning staff were extremely helpful and spoke English. The front desk staff, too.

Review: The highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. The Myeongdong Street shopping district is right below the hotel, where you can find the street food, skin care stores and several cafes and eateries. Also, it is near Busan Jib Halal eatery. The hotel also prepared takeout breakfast for those who are unable to sit-in for breakfast. The breakfast selection was simple - toast, some pastries, cereals, sandwiches, ham slices (non-halal), jam, salad and that was it. The staff were friendly and are able to converse in English. nnA word of caution. The room is super tiny. We booked the deluxe twin room with one queen bed and one single bed and we were left with no room to open our luggage. It was hard to move around the tiny room. It gave that claustrophobic feeling the minute we first entered the room. We ended up booking another room - standard twin room - just to store our 3 huge luggage and our shopping loot. This room was smaller than what we had. If you don't mind the space, then this hotel might serve you best.
