Review: I’m tired of cookie-cutter mega resorts that offer little local charm beyond a few items on the food menu. Hotel Puri Tempo Doeloe is a fantastic alternative—just the right size, with beautiful cottages and a lush garden. It’s small enough to feel intimate but spacious enough to ensure privacy. The warm pool, which gets plenty of morning sun, is a great touch, and the service is both friendly and flexible. While some things might not be perfect, the staff is quick to address any issues.
Positive points: We stayed in a three bedroom villa, so loved the space and private pool. The decor was lovely and all the tropical plants.
Negative points: The location is a bit of a walk. There is a back lane we used and walked to Bali Icon Mall. We did get a taxi back which was cheap. But we like the adventure of exploring.nCould do with a brush to sweep the path of the villa and a pool skimmer. The pool wasn’t that bad just the odd bug etc
Review: This is great value in sanur. very pretty joglo houses and gardens , a generous freshly cooked breakfast . lovely staff. Rooms are quirky and v comfortable. Nicer than some 5 star places I have stayed in Bali. Only possible downside it is a little further back from the beach not far from the market, but they happily organise motorbikes/bicycles if you wish. Also a coffee shop on site serving good coffee.
Positive points: The detail of the room and bathroom
Negative points: The sign name from the street its not easy to read or see and when i arrived around 8pm theres no staff around,i am a bit confuse wheres the reception and all the staff,because it was so quiet
Review: Fantastic accommodation and very friendly staff
Positive points: The BEST stay my family ever experienced and we have been all over many hotels in many cities around the world. The villa is top notch and the service is above and beyond. They celebrated my birthday with so much pomp and circumstance, yet still spend the effort to surprise my cousin 2 days later. Will come back!
Review: The welcoming staff and receiptionist were very quick to assist. The room is nice and clean. Breakfast is a la carte where you can choose the menu. Very quite too during the night. It's an overall a nice experience
Positive points: Setting and pool area
Negative points: The walk to the beach /icon mall was not easy . Boardering on dangerous unless you have extensive travel experience in the region.
Review: this is a great value, very cute, comfortable hotel compared to many in sanurwith a good spa, very pretty garden and simple, fresh generous well presented food. Its a little back from the beach so Id advise a motorbike but its easy to get grab taxis and to walk. Staff are lovely and super helpful too.
Positive points: Peaceful, lush green space. Unique individual villas to stay in. Super clean and best bathrooms I’ve encountered in Bali. Nice pool cabanas & space. Friendly /helpful staff who noticed my son preferred cantaloupe so they went and got that for his next day’s fruit plate. Tempo is located off main busy road but set back so you don’t notice. To get places you can walk out back door of property, through small neighborhood streets. Safe area. I chilled there for about 4 days with my tweenager who stayed in the room a lot and found it a quiet & pretty place to be. Also the AC was wonderful in the room which I appreciated.
Negative points: I wished I had booked something closer to the action/beach/shops and other food options etc. Took me 3 tries to find beach walking not a straight shot there and confusing to find way through the streets. I ended up hailing Grab bikes every time to get there and back to save me time and hassle. (Cars drop you at the front off the main road but bikes can take you to back entrance.) Restaurant is okay, some dishes were great but after multiple days I wanted more options.

Negative points: The breakfast was not to my personal taste. It was also difficult to ask for less as people do so want to please.

Positive points: This is a beautiful, quiet and serene little hotel. The pool area is perfect - big enough to swim, small enough to feel cozy and quaint. The hotel is nestled in beautiful greenery, and the Suite room I had was incredibly spacious (with a massive bath).
Negative points: Unfortunately the breakfast is not great. It’s not absolutely awful, but it’s also not good. 6/10 (and that’s after trying pretty much every option). It could so easy be improved, so I hope they do try.

Positive points: We liked that it was a la carte and we could choose what we wanted. The ambience was nice too.
Negative points: On one of the days, one of the breakfasts (pancakes) was not cooked through (still raw in the middle) but this was the only time.

Positive points: Quiet oasis only slightly removed from the busier roads of Sanur. Staff were so nice. Pool and gardens relaxing
Negative points: While the historical villas were beautiful, there was a wood-framed window that wasn't sealed as well as it could have been-- luckily we didn't have a lot of bugs get in. They did have mosquito nets around the beds to help with that too.
